it's probably because it has such a 'hip-hop'-ish feel, it's weird to hear it live b/c usually these songs are played at dance clubs.. and they are the mastered recorded copies that are polished, but they actually re-create it live. i love it live!!!

no, as in the genre, I think its the bass/claps at the start, just put me off it. Its effectively a pop tune, and I got bored of it after half a dozen listens...

No I think live it is slightly heavier than a pop tune. I do admit some of the album stuff is a bit too light and poppy. I think this is just a strange and wonderfuk mix of beats and something else. I quite like the fact they are exploring. Let us just hope that the next album explores the Silent Alarm type tunes.
