The only thing that i don't like about the untouchable masterpiece RE 1 Rebirth for Gamecube is that they change the intro and finals scenes... This intro with real actors was more badass and scary in my opinion, i don't care for the mediocre acting... I grew with the mighty RE 1 1996 and i was a bit disappointed when Capcom change the intro and finals for the Rebirth with CG instead of a real movie with actors...

First Resident Evil game I got was RE3, since I got that game, I've owned all of them, they made up my childhood. RESIDENT EVIL ONE- started the series, great game, VERY cheesy.

RE2- Awesome game, very scary

RE3- decent game, nemesis is a great boss.

RE4- Great game, derived from the main series, but still has scary moments to keep original fans interested(i hope, it did for me)

RE5- Well......it was meh. Not scary whatsoever.....

In general- the originals were great, had many good scary moments, Re4 was deemed one of the best games ever, not many original fans like it though, and re5 was....meh.
