  • The slide sounds like a Spongebob instrumental. =') <3

  • Forget the hippie stuff, play some folk metal on that thing.

  • Looks nice but doesn't sound very resonator like. I don't see the point.

  • I thought Jerry Garcia was a better guitar player.

  • @SuperOlds88

I thought Peter Sutcliffe was locked up for life ;-)

  • OOOOO SHINY!! jajaj lol

  • The F holes look gay, gay, gay. Fender screwed up. Why would it be quiet if it´s a resonator? Cause it´s crap. Fender resonators are so stiff.

  • @dgb111 I agree the F looks stupid. They should've used a classic looking logo or something.

  • If you're going to pay over $500 for a guitar, make sure it's not made in China

  • i want a resonator guitar, but many people have told me that its not very versitile ,that its only to play folk and blues, its that true, because i want one really bad, should i buy it?

  • I would love to hear this guitar through a Peavey Delta Blues 115. Guitar Center and other mom and pop shops never have the FR50CE in stock.

  • the thumbail makes you look like a giant

  • @DvinkleVittleSchtar You can play slide on any guitar, but some guitars work better with a slide than others. Higher action is probably the most important part of a good slide guitar.

  • Is it possible and easy to install a second output on the guitar so that i can send the piezzo to an acoustic amp and the fender pickup to a little 15 or 20 watts tube amp ?

  • I am very seriously considering this for my first resonator, acoustic/electric guitar! Maybe in September I'll buy this bad boy..

  • i actually got turned on when he amped it up. YES fender.

  • I have this guitar though i replaced the tele pickup with a pensa suhr and it has a surprisingly good tone. I would recommend this guitar with an extra hundred pounds to get a decent pickup fitted!:D

  • The original is better , I have it , and it's the best sounding acoustic I've ever heard , and I own some fairly high end acoustic guitars, I got it for $150 barely used , and IMO it's priceless :)

  • That was a great review. Thanks for taking the time to make it!

  • change the F holes! D:

  • @MrNikcccc I hate faggots like you, go get a fucking life!

  • @devilchille it didnt work

  • It may be Open Tuning, but it's still OUT OF TUNE

  • @TheDaveWallace There is no 'one way' of tuning. There's standard - which EVERYONE plays in which is sooo boring. Guitar would never have evolved if everyone had your mindset

  • Out of tune!

If you're going to demo an instrument to the world, you'd really better prepare properly.

    TUNE UP.

  • @TheDaveWallace Its called open tuning you LEMON!

  • she never mentions the word addiction! in certain company

    she talks to angeeeeeeels!

  • Thanks for the heads up. Good balanced critique

  • What happend to the guy who would slowly open the box and show the stickers and safety manual?

  • aaah black crowes!

  • Hey, is that in Open E tuning?

  • He is wrong I think cus it is a really loud guitar it was made for slide

  • yes little martha!!

  • I can get the notes just by ear

  • I want one of these, except without electrics.

  • I wish they would change the F holes......I would buy one in a minute if they did.

  • Wow at last Gearwire's found a good player and reviewer. This man is real good. We want more of his reviews...

  • also you are a great player love thr allman bro song.

  • Nice Guitar but that bridge pick up sounds like shit.

  • i really like this guitar! atm it's out of my price range though

  • The F fender holes are kind of cheesy, but I like the sound.

  • Wow! I have heard that opening song before on a comp cd from the Smithsonian. What is the name of it?

  • It's "Little Martha" by the Allman Bros. Band

  • I think it's nice, it sounds like you could do some 1920's and 30's style covers with it. It has that Robert Johnson, Django sound.

  • Django ?! omg ^^

  • ???

  • imo u never heard Django

  • Thats what my comment said! That you could do allot of covers that sound like music from the 20's and 30's with this guitar like Django, and Johnson.

  • i wanted to say that i.m.o. this guitar doen't sound like Django' guitar ^^

  • I'm saying it very closely could sound like it on a cover recording.

  • gearwire; videodescriptions more enjoyable than sex

  • not sure whether to thank you or be concerned for your sex life...

  • I don't think it's better then sex...
