wow this is pretty odd for me. i just finished downloading the game and now the launcher is taking forever to load. i waited for like 5 hours last night and then nothing happened.

I had the launcher problem yesterday after i installed.. though found out that it bugs out and is still downloading and installing whilst the launcher is open. you can tell if you have this problem if the log in text goes grey.. if so.. all you have to do is leave it on the splash screen for 10mins till the text goes gold again..

today i came accross a new problem... my launcher now doesnt load.. so hopefully the info in this vid fixes that.. il let you kno how i go.

my game do not say insert any disc i put in disc 1 it dosent say anything i put in them all then clicked play in the loading screen to get on the game it my screen goes please change resolution to 1440x900 i did that now the screen just goes completely blank what sould i do

I installed the game but when i reach the loading screen the game crashes and it doesnt show me any message nothing. Problem is i opened my file loaction and there was no "fix launcher" thing to press either so how exactly am i suppose to fix this. I reinstalled it and again NOTHING!? what should i do. I am having a network problem, when i launch the starter and type in my info, i get a "server not responding" error. ive tryed creating inbound rules for windows firewall to allow swtor to pass, ive tried forwarding my ports from my router, ive tried running the launcher in safe mode-with networking. nothing seems to work

I just bought the game today, and i'm trying to install it. It says "Please insert the next disc. (2)" And when I go to insert disc 2 it still says "Please insert the next disct. (2)"

@roman11777 Honestly, i haven't heard of that issue before. I'd try just un-installing it and re-doing it.

if problems persist use the online downloader even if your net sucks like mine, it's flawless.

@starlordwars Yes, you must sign a subscription with a credit card or paypal. Then, you can cancel it immediatly afterwards and just pay through gamecards at wal-mart or local stores that sell game time. It's just a way of activating and verifying real people from asian farmers.

Hey, umm I'm having troubles launching the game itself. I went on the actual website to see if I could read to see if anyone had similar problems and they did. I try their solutions and still it won't work. It installed fine and opens up to the main Login page but when I press play you see it flicker like it's going to the game then it take me back to my desktop showing no error is there anyway to fix this? Please help me i'm trying to install SWTOR on my new computer, i started getting all the files ready and then it takes to the launcher to patch the game, and while its doing that it just STOP'S! patching, i try clicking on the pause button or anything on the screen, and when i do, it just goes black screen, then white, and then it sais "SWTOR Launcher is not responding" some please help me with this problem.

I have the "Graphic Card was not responding but has recovered" problem. Right in the middle of a game, my AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series graphics card apparently goes unresponsive. My screen freezes, then goes black, then brings up the loading screen, then goes back to normal. It gets really annoying because sometimes I miss dialogue or die in the middle of combat because of this. If you have any sort of knowledge over this, please reply!

@DannyDaBaga Also this does not happen with any of my other games I play, just SWTOR. I've looked all over the internet, and since plenty of others are having similar problems, I'm beginning to believe it's something wrong with the game.

@DannyDaBaga Update your drivers and post it on the customer service web page, even try giving them a call. Some graphics cards are "LOCKED" and need to be worked with to gethem working. It also might be your graphics card is defective.

@Abrum1333 That's a server-side issue most likely. Try and re-installing your client using the method I said in the video, just re-install over your current game copy. This should work if you used the cd's to get the game originally.

Hey Matt, thanks for the tip! This was exactly what I needed to do to fix my game. I purchased the standard edition and it would load the splash screen then just drop me back at my desktop, no error codes, no nothing. Almost had me panicked there!

Try out this fix though, just go re-install the game via the online client. It'll say it has to re-install over the current copy, which will take 5 minutes because it gets only the missing files.

THEN, just launch it up like normal.

@OMFGWoWx Alright, I already rolled a jedi consular on another realm but since you are a sith I guess I can just make my sith on your realm if that seems resonable. Turns out after being with customer support on the phone for almost 2 hours wait time, they said the same thing you said to me after trying it 3 times. Then I went on systemrequirements site and it turns out my computer doesn't have a strong enough gfx card. So i ended up bootcamping my mac.
