  • Thanks for the information. The scene was so vivid in my head I thought it must have been in the miniseries too.

  • Where is the scene where Jake kills the old man after talking to his young wife?

  • @58Champ That part isn't in the movie, only the book.

  • Lorena was a witch to Dish about looking after her. After all she was a whore and all of a sudden she didnt like men but she still tried to give Gus a poke.

  • put some new westerns up her. lkie hell on whells.

  • anyone up for a hanging of jake spoon????? i am ,

  • One thing I did notice. Everyone that dies always has something to say either to Newt, or about newt.

  • @z06vetking Maybe that's b/c he is still a boy and they know it may be a little harder for him to accept the commonality of death than the men he is with.

  • @markmeetsworld GOOD POINT. It's kinda reminds me of slingblade when everyone says "CARL" right before he kills doyle lol

  • Justice was swift, fair and absolute. That said, throughout the show the good guys always showed a respect for life and death.

  • This part always gives me chills, some of the best acting cinema has ever seen. Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee def deserved some awards. The facial expressions alone is amazing.

I appreciate the upload markmeetsworld.... You know Mr. Duvall probably has watched some of your videos and read comments. LOL

  • That sad hanging Jake fell into the wrong crowd...

  • There's a lot of lessons in this movie. Here's an important one: Choose your friends very, very carefully.

  • "Its a bad bunch were after, As bad as Iv'e ever seen"

    "Your a black liar Sir"!

    "Put'em on their Horses" !

Where's he going? To pick out a tree to hang you from.

And. They are in Hell..... Where they belong.....

  • That's some great acting by Duvall when Spoon spurs his horse. That man was made to play this character! He is true greatness!!

  • The sound is off. It kills me!

  • This sequence is a little bemusing unless you have read or seen the prequels "Commanche Moon" and "Dead Man's Walk"... that establishes that Gus and Call are hard, merciless lawmen. Any outlaw is a dead man. Hence why they kill Jake...

  • Why didn't the rope burn on those two sod busters?

  • damn sound was off.

  • @iopghjk001 I know and I regret that, esp. since it happened right as Jake hung himself. It was also one of Duvall's finest moments as an actor. By the way, if you have the new DVD release, watch the behind the scenes extras and you'll hear Duvall mention his reaction to Jake's hanging. According to him, it wasn't acting at all.

  • @PatrickBP26 god isn't real

  • Damn.

  • They were all well hung .........

  • Jake Spoon reminds me o me in my early twenties...I got lots of regrets from those days. Thanks to GOD Ive come to see whats important in life....he did die a very admirable daeth though...that's something every one of us can hope for when our soul is required of.

  • So Jake kills himself.

  • blue duck and Dan should have gotten together. they would have been best friends. Dan is funny

  • they aint worth red piss and neither are you,,,,,,,,,,,,DAMN SIDE BUSTERS haha that guys funny as hell

  • Minimize your screen helps some.

  • @peetie44 S-O-D busters.

  • @peetie44 yeah and the rangers are S-O-B busters (as in son of ***** busters)

  • A good death
