technically it was very good, except the tapping part, but what you should really change is first your tuning, because in this vid your guitar sounds so out of tune and second your tone, it sounds just digital like a synthie and way too much distortion and too less lows and mids, get the treble out of there and crank the lows and mids up ;)

Well the way i got good at metal was cutting off all my fingers, then as they were groing back, i did sweeping until they were fully grown out. Once that's done, you can play metal.

Hey, you can start anywhere! Seriously it doesn't matter, just no matter where you start (maybe with easier songs) just start slow and build up speed, fast and accurate is better than super fast and sloppy

Sorry metranon, but i wouldnt start with acoustic guitar because it may make you want to stop playing guitar altogether. Same with taking lessons. The songs that your teacher may give you will make you not want to practice as much. So what i recommend if you want to play metal, get and electric guitar right away, use the internet to learn songs and playing techniques, and last but definately not least...PRACTICE!!!

What you can do is get a music program like PrintMusic and just plug in random notes like 3 at a time and see if it sounds good if it doesnt go back and do another 3. Eventually you will figure out that you break down parts add in riffs and such and it will sound awesome.
