@kyeruu2 a breakdown is used when a band wants to break apart the verse-chorus-verse sections, it's usually slow and heavy but other punk/punk influenced bands (I.E Thrash is a mix of the new wave of british metal and hardcore punk) like this one, incorporate faster upbeat breakdowns that follow a similar rolling motion, which allows moshing etc. etc. etc.

That part after the solo IS a breakdown, just not the one we're used to listening to by all these -core kiddies trying to be br00t4l.

@kyeruu2 uhm, while it is a break in the chorus verse structure of the song, it doesn't have that "moshable" quality that would make it a breakdown, as stressed beats are not evenly spaced.
