@Mistertinman You're confusion venues of investigation. Give me your email and I'll send you the chapter in my book that deals specifically with what you're suggesting. Science deals with experiments that can be reproduced "repeatedly" in a lab and conclude a given results.
@Mistertinman To varify truth events in history other venues are studied as any credible historian will admit. I can't reproduce I ate with my wife yesterday in a specififc restaurant, but you can verify whether the event ocurred based on whether I can know some details of the menu, witnesses that saw me, and who I saw that can be verified.
@Mistertinman That none one in history ever reproduced a body and no documents were written contradicting the resurrection can be argued using similar logic. Don't believe someone just because they have a Ph.D. I also have a Ph.D. from Dallas Seminary—and that in itself doen't mean I'm right or wrong.
Hey buddy! Have you ever read the letters of Paul? Paul spoke of the resurrection as spiritual, not physical. It sure would be nice if you had said something of value in the ongoing scholarly debate about this tomb. You definitely are no scholar, just another programmed fundie spewing the same tired brain recordings. On the other hand, I'm co-authoring a book with one of the worlds top experts in the Jewish Burial Customs of the Second Temple Era. Its a slam-dunk for the tomb of Jesus.
I would encourage you to read N.T. Wright's Christian origins trilogy. If you only read one book in this set, read "The Resurrection of the Son of Man" by N.T. Wright.
Wow...that was very objective and non-emotional advertisment for their own book (*sarcasm*).
If these two would have sat infront of the camera proclaiming something of value in a believable way, it should have been done without those smirks and clear arrogance. It's actually scary and distasteful.
Puts me off any kind of reading of anything written by these two people, I am sorry to say.
And all I want and search for is an objective research as far as humanly possible.

This guy has nothing to add to the debate. Give us some historical data that proves the tomb one way or the other or shut up.

It sounds like a religious book. I would have liked to hear something scientific.
