Ok just going to say this I go to HHHS but why does it matter people keep saying how they beat us and how Southridge is so damn tough bull we killed you guys this year so if you win once dont brag about it cuss then we will to
This is a very awesome video. My cousin is the halfback, #7. I'm only a freshman in high school but this gives me a lot of inspiration. Coach Clayton is a boss.
I remember coach Clayton, I had him for english and P.E. Man he treated us like we were on the football team. He is a hell of a coach, Hate to see the team without him.
Why did you feel the need to point that out? Do you know how many schools there are with 100% black football teams? I don't see you making any comments on those videos.
it'sstarting all over again this year...can you hear the hooves and the clabbering of the armour? "and on his back was death" . WE ARE BACK IN BLACK!
"WHAT IS THIS...THAT STANDS BEFORE ME?...FIGURE IN BLACK, THAT POINTS AT ME!..TURN AROUND QUICK AND START TO RUN...FIND OUT YOUR THE CHOSEN ONE...OH GOD NO...PLEASE HELP ME!" shitty school my friend...we graduated 1 doctor,1 naval aviator, one chemical engineer, one high school athletics director, 1 high school principal, and then there was me.
and then heritage hills high school met the SOUTHRIDGE RAIDERS of HUNTINGBURG, IN. in 2008! "he came on a pale white horse, on his back was death". remember that bob C. we're coming back this year for your sorry-assed broken down coaching skills. the RAIDER IS RELENTLESS IN HIS PERSUIT! HE WILL FIND YOU!
so your pussy cats finally have something to be proud of instead of your factories full of ignorant meth-smoking rednecks. who was your only loss last year? aren't you a 4A school? phony tough!
Hey im gonna tell you what you told the other guy, we arent talkin bout last year dumbass, we are talkin bout this year. Again, you guys were lucky to beat Forest Park. And wont you start worryin bout all your illegal Mexicans and there soccer teams dumbass.
i'm surprised you didn't start of with that "has been" jerry brewer. if you hang around in a bar in jasper long enough, you'll be recognized, just like brewer in football. i've talked with the man, and he has the IQ of a 1950's 7th grader. we don't have pussy soccer at southridge high school. we play football...your city leads the county in illegals (do the research, it's a population thing hillbilly). we should stick to football but, protect ourselves from these mexicans/el salvador scumbags!
Hard to believe this was 9 years ago... wow I feel old(I gradiuated in '99 from HH). I remember this game well and it was AMAZING! I never would have thought that someone I went to school with would be one of NFL's best QB's today- a Pro Bowl QB.
I was also at HH's last state game(my brother was on the team)- it's a shame they didn't win. Don't worry we'll be back up in Indy soon, I'm sure. hooru2me- I could be wrong but, I think Michael Sigler was on the last HH football team to go to state.
Heritage Hills is a bad ass football program, i come from tell city and i played football against them every year...we only beat them once and that was my eighth grade year
Even though I used to hate Heritage Hills, its good to see a local guy in the pros
I know this is a year behind, but I just thought that I'd respond to your question. Chris Sigler is still there; he is an assistant coach to Clayton. He has a son in first or second grade, who will eventually play for HH. Dave Howell lives up around Indianapolis; his stepson is actually a freshman at Zionsville. Bruce King is now living and working in Atlanta. I'm Scott Neff's daughter, and my dad still hangs out with these guys, so that's how I know all of this.

give me a break this sappy ass video makes it seem like jay dominateded the game when it was actually zionsville who broke more state records in this game. i'll give him the win but don't think he played great with 4 INTs. They only won of a missed feild goal in OT
Jay was a hell of a player, but a lot of people are overlooking the 4 INTs that he threw that game. Which shows the guts and determination to stick with it until the end.
Thankyou so much for posting this man! I remember that game like it was yesterday. The back for Zionsville just ran all over us until overtime.
I remember that channel 25 that year had a video about the championship seasons of heritage hills and mater dei and I never had a chance to get it. Do you have any idea if there is any way to get a hold of one of those still?

Man...and I thought the drop off in talent between the NFL and college was big lol.

Cole Seifrig (google him)
Accepted a full ride to Purdue as an ATH.
Then he got drafted in the 2nd round of the '03 MLB draft (Marlins).
Washed out of the minors and refused the Purdue football scholarship.
I believe he's still 3rd all time on the IN HS football career scoring list.

Cutler started his first varsity game at QB as a sophomore in 1998 against Southridge.
The only reason he started was because the senior QB got hurt.
What if the senior QB stayed healthy and Cutler didn't start until his junior year.
It's amazing how one little injury can completely change lives.

"welcome to the jungle baby...we got fun and games"...he should have been "sidelined" for his conducted alone. or did vandy finally try to do that?
