@rb26shane when doing the rb20 swap, the stock 240sx driveshaft can be used. the rb20 transmission is very similar to the ka transmission, and the yoke for the driveshaft is the same. just slip it in.

@SuperbD2009 the only point I see behind the rb20 is the stock block holds more power but I like my sr20 parts are cheaper buz it's not an rb motor they both make the same power stock both make power from bolt ons but the sr is lighter, do you have a hatch or a coupe and are you running a weld diff or lsd

@DcEvoIX Na man its just stock SR20DET blacktop with no name front mount intercooler, no name BOV, and stock 8lbs of boost. He does have KYB suspension. But thats it. And it wasnt a complete drag race it was at a stop light and they took off quick first and we caught up to them and passed them but the top of second we were pullin HARD by the time we got to 90MPH we were about 1 car and a half ahead. Brand new 370z... maybe they didnt know how to drive but im sure it was automatic.

RB20 silvertop makes 217bhp stock. So, assuming you did like most people and added a pod filter and cat-back exhaust when you did the swap, you might be making around ~240ish bhp. RB20s don't breath so well with the stock airbox and exhaust piping..

~280-290bhp is about the limit on an RB20 for the stock turbo and fuel system. The ceramic T28 is only reliable up to 1 bar (anything beyond this and it will blow right quick), and the 270cc injectors aren't good for much more than 300bhp. ~300bhp is like a transitional point on RB20s, where you really have to start replacing more key components, in order to continue increasing power levels. The stock bottom-end is good for atleast ~400-450bhp though.

I've had a few cars with lockers, they were all fine. Can be a pain without power steering though, and it will chew out rear suspension bushes.

Best bet is to shim the LSD so it's stupidly tight, at least you can get over pits that way.
