@HaloXIIII Spread over a period of time, quite a bit. Locos and rolling stock can be pricey but the card built buildings were cheap enough and a lot of fun building. Scenic background was a country shot from the internet! I just flipped the image horizontally and printed. The ends always matched up!
@Amtrak1194 Yes, the Southwest trains can be coupled to another set - but be sure the motors in each set are pulling the same way! I use N gauge bog standard flexitrack. Hope that helps.
@MrMat063 The only vehicles that are Oxford die cast are the two buses, a delivery van and a van with a ladder on the roof. Coaches and a lot of the cars and lorries are Japanese. Thanks for your comments. I seldom use ballast on the track because I'm scared of jamming up the points!
@acelaboy123 Thanks for your comments. N gauge is so good for limited space. I hope you give it a try and then put the result up here so we can all appreciate it. If you want any tips let me know.
That was quite amazing Rob, and it was easy to forget how small N Gauge is. You've done a magnificent job on this new project, and I'm sure it will encourage others to try this gauge...Bob
@robmasterman Many thanks Bob, it was fun planning and laying it out - 7'3" ain't long!! I think this one has more operating appeal. As for encouraging others, see above!
cost of it all?
