  • Way way WAY WAY way WAY too lengthy vid, just shut the fuck up and boot the computer man, and show the vid just from booting MOBO screen to windows fully loaded, that way the video timer shows precise time, btw mines faster, i got mushkin chronos something, but one thing i did was disable the windows 7 boot logo, so it goes through that process about 50% faster, and mine doesn't take 10 seconds to load like yours, it takes 2 at most

  • @AgeOfGangster The vid is slowed down x 100 so the boot sequence can be seen by the human eye

    not lol

  • @summt5697 Is all that work REALLY necessary? What is the point of having a 15sec boot? How often do you people actually (re)boot your PC in a day?

  • @PsyKad wait? You think a SSD drive only makes boot faster? If that is the case, you are very very mistaken.

  • Fuck.

I'm going to be building a new rig for Christmas, so I'm definatly getting an ssd now. lol

  • dude have you aver heard of cable management?

  • so all ssd are faulty and freeezes??

  • i get the same and i have password in windows and sata I

  • HOW DO U MAKE YOUR BOOT TIME FAST LIKE THIS?

  • @Mr27owensby Buy a solid state drive and install windows 7 on it. Use either an external drive or a regular hd for storage of your music, pictures, games et cetra. Store your programs on the SSD. Ocz vertex is a very good value for you rmoney. You could skate on by with the 30 gb but I'd recommend at least t he 60 gb for headroom.

  • mines is faster, about 9 seconds

  • @XXXoXXoXXXX Dont speak too soon because I have a RevoDrive now :)

  • @cjellwood

Nice, I got the Agility II.

What helped my boot up speed some more was I overclocked everything especially my quad (to 4.5ghz) and made sure in my msconfig it utilizes multi-thread support on boot up

  • @cjellwood

    6 seocnds here. 2x OCZ vertex 3 120GB SSDs RAID 0. ;)

    oh CPU i7 2600K 4GHz Overclocked and 2x 4 GB 1833MHz overclocked RAMs

just as info, Z68X UD4 B3 Gigabyte MOBO

  • almost 20 seconds, well its fast for a windows 7 system i guess. My linux rig boots in 15 seconds with a regular harddisk.

  • fast ? lol you pc boot 1.33 minuts

  • @daimleramg lol yeah, I cant say 'thread' either and remember teachers at school losing their rag with me about it. Maybe it is like some people being able to roll their tongue i.e just part of the persons genetic make up. There are plenty of common people around that can pronounce their th's

  • wat chipset does your motherboard have? and do you use trim support?

  • Haha.. That was not really fast my man.. Windows 7 32 bit booting on my dell laptop which contains a 1.8 Ghz T7100 CPU and a Kingston SSD which clearly owns this PC.. 12 seconds.. Check the video to see for yourself.

  • Nice .just my pc so fast. and things. (yeah yeah bla bla)

    just with my normal HarDrive.

i see no diferent's (this is even fast as my drive)

    My Specs-

    intel core Q8300 quad 2.50ghz

    4gb instlaled (used 3Gb )32bits version windows 7

  • My Wester Digital Raptor 74gb 10,000RPM is way faster then that......

  • Wow 16 ~ 17 sec!!

  • was that sarcasm lol

  • Damn dat was indeed fast..well at least faster than mines lol

  • thats fast i guess thats the advantage of a ssd drive vs a traditional hard drive. i think i might get one. what brand should i get?

  • OCZ

  • what size would i be able to get with 250$ ?

  • maybe a 60gb if ya lucky

  • how much would a 128GB cost

  • damn, that was not fast

  • show me faster

  • cjellwood :

Hi, great speed ! You have Windows seven, and I want to buy this SSD but I have XP.

Do you know if the OCZ Agility freezes with Windows XP ?

  • the operating system is no concern, it is the model of SSD drive to be carefull about.

  • So I'm going to buy it. Thank you.

  • man that was fast
