I saw that very commercial in 87, got excited about a new Fiero and bought a brand new 88 GT. Boy I got suckered! I'm a pro GM person but that car was a P.O.S. Nice to look at but was constantly braking down. Resale value was so low that GM was giving extra incentives if you traded a Fiero in on a new car. It took three years to get rid of it and still lost my ass. Got a new 91 Talon TSI and never looked back. Drove that car everyday till couple years ago and I still miss it...
