In ANOTHER EPISODE, a crime scene photographer says he can see when death is going to take someone, because he 'missed his chance' because someone else 'died in his place' and he was more than 140 years old... He sees that scully was going to die, but He saw death for her. Now SHE can't die, because he died in her place.

There was an episode when they talked about Past lives, and skinner, spender, and CGBSpender where all nazis, mulder was an american, scully was an american, but skinner was actually an american spy. In another episode, Mulder goes to the bermuda triangle. He gets on a ship lost in time, from the start of WWII, and skinner, spender, TSM, scully... All there, true to a random episode seasons earlier.

A shoulder wound can be fatal, if the subclavian artery is ruptured the victim bleed to death in very short order. as the heart continues to pump blood through a ruptured atrery the bleeding would be profuse to the point of the bp bottoming out which would cause cardiac arrest and death.
