  • Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji and Baba Deep Singh Ji stayed with Guru Sahib Ji when They went to Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib, teaching the understanding of Gurbani to Gursikhs. Just before Guru Ji ascended to Sachkhand He sent Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh JI to Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, and Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji to Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib to continue teaching the understanding of Gurbani. Damdami Taksal has been operating under the leadership of Brahm Gianis until now, and will forever more

  • Where were all these so called nihungs in 1984 and 1947????

  • there were nihangs at 1984 do your research before saying stupid things

  • why do you think so many singhs were martyred? they didn't just come out of thin air.... ill tell you one story... at a guruduwara sahib in delhi.. there were mainly women and children and old people present during the riots... there was however one very old nihang singh... the nihang singh faught with the crowds as long as he could.... and finaly gave shaheedi when he was overcome.... they set him on fire....

please don't speak ill of those you know nothing about.

  • i no him seen him at da dhal

  • vah vah, dhan guru gobind singh ji...dhan teri khalsa fauj! gurbur AKAAAL!

  • which rehat, sgpc rehat or other rehat?

  • damdami taksal rehat maryada, which is the most original you can get as damdami taksal was started by guru gobind singh ji mahraj.

ok yes the nihangs are allowed to take bhang as a technology but this guy obviously abuses it

  • damdami taksal rehit maryada? I think u should do more research on damdami taksal. But Buddha Dal rehit is the most original rehit.

Check how many times Damdami Taksal rehit has been changed, and when it came about. Also there was Damdama Sahib, but when did the term Damdami Taksal come into use?

And the Damdami Taksal rehit u talk about is probably only used by the Chowk Mehta branch of Bhindrawala Samprada, this branch came about from Baba Kartar Singh.

  • damdami taksal was created by sri guru gobind singh ji and the first jathedar was shaheed baba deep singh ji.

I would suggest we try and understand and read gurbani ourselves instead of poking fingers at those that do the same and calling them wrong.... only when we ourselves are at that level can we have a basis for advising about rights and wrongs.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh

  • If you read gurmat rehit maryada by sant baba gurbachan singh ji it says that the leader of Baba Deep Singh Shaheed misl was Baba Kundan Singh at the time of writing the book. Also in the book Turban and the SWord by Prof. Trilochan Singh it says that Sant Sundar Singh belonged to Amritsari Taksal and founded the Bhindrawaley Taksal. Anyway are you disagreeing with BAba Gurbachan Singh?

  • and no i am not disagreeing with anyone... just presenting the information as i see it. The damdami taksal is the same taksal which was started by sri guru gobind singh ji... it is often called the travelling sikh university beause of the parcharaks that travel the world to spread the messege of god to the sikhs

  • "Under Sunder Singh (1883 to 1930), the Taksal seems to have come to the forefront.

Sunder Singh was succeeded by Gurbachan Singh in 1930(1902 - 1969), after whom, Kartar Singh continued his work.

In 1977 after the death of Kartar Singh, Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala became the head of Damdami Taksal."

  • Baba Deep Singh Ji Shaheed-----Till now in their Missal the leaders that have succeeded each other one after another and their companion Sikhs -------. The present Jathedar is Baba Kundan Singh.

Gurmat Rehit Maryada, Baba Gurbachan Singh Khalsa Bhindrawaley, Pa.129

  • the amritsari taksal is just the amritsar location of the same taksal... as for the bhinderawalay taksal... it is the same taksal but because sant baba sundar singh ji was from a pind called bhinder... that name became associated with everyone who became the leader therafter... the taksal however remains the same as it was started by sri guru gobind singh ji

  • To carry the distortion further, the Bhindrawaley Taksal now claims to be the spiritual descendants of Damdami Taksal (Spiritual lineage of interpreters of Adi Guru Granth) of Baba Dip Singh, although all the followers of Baba Dip Singh and Baba Gurbaksh Singh died to the last man for the sanctity of the Golden Temple. They left no successor.

  • Sant Sundar Singh founder of Bhindrawaley Taksal was student of Sant Gulab Singh, a Nirmala Saint and actually belonged to the Amritsali Taksal. I had the opportunity to meet Sant Inder Singh, brother of Sant Sundar Singh many times and got first-hand material about the Saints life from Sant Gurbachan Singh. Sant Inder Singh died at the age of 104.

  • Also please show me proof of the term Damdami Taksal used in purataan times?

  • hanji veerji damdami taksal is basically the taksal (school which was started by sri guru gobind singh ji at damdama sahib.. hence it is called damdami taksal...

i'll post a bit in my next comment about this

  • "Just before leaving the world Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji ordered Baba Deep Singh ji to go back to Damdama Sahib and continue the Taksal (school) that taught Gursikhs the correct meanings and pronunciations of Gurbani. All the Gurdware at Damdama Sahib were also put under the management of Baba ji by Guru ji. Here Baba ji prepared Gurbani Pothis/Anthologies and sent them to numerous Sikh shrines and thus made a massive effect on promoting/spreading the message of the Guru."

  • Only five leaves are allowed for medicinal use and as a last resort before going into battle so that you can fight until you give shaheedi...

as for this person using it... how do you know? did you watch him using it? he seems old to me and that can explain a lot.. please don't pass judgements on people without knowing the full truth

  • this guy takes dope, its forbidden by the rehat, so this guy is takin the piss

  • Geeeza all true singhz r mad dey thrive on shaheedi. nihangz r part of da khalsa n da whole of da khalsa is man to man the strongest army in the world

  • Non of the gurus tried to make a kingdom, they were beyond that (although guru gobind singh emphasized the need for a sovereighn state), they set and led an example, it was Sikhs like "Banda singh bahadur" who carved out the sikh homelands, as for sikhs being dispersed around the world, thats probably the best thing to come out of the whole diaspora.

  • I was refering to the Dogras whos cunniving bakstabing led to the sikhs loosing their kingdom and then their was that pandit nehru.

  • the sikh WARRIORS/SOLDIERS (by now few in number due to the many wars and bloodshed that had past, were fighting against muslim mobs during that period of hallaucaust, they went to the borders to fight and protect fellow sikh brethren crossing the new formed border.that time was a terrible time for the sikhs, i lay the blame down on sikhs trusting these slimey hindu brahmns sons of bitches
