i'm a little bit new to the levellers, (i'm only 16 lol) and i have decided that i love this music, at the moment i'm listening to random songs by them on youtube, is there any song by them in particular that i should listen to? if so, please tell me.

@somonelse666 I really got into the Levs by listening to Levelling The Land, but the album this song is on (Zeitgeist), Levelling The Land and the self-titled "Levellers" album are all fantastic. All the albums have got stand out tracks, Green Blade Rising is a very summery album and has some amazing tracks on too. Hello Pig is a bit different but still good. Not to forget the last album, Letters from the Underground, that has "Fight or Flight" on, a stunning song. Get yourself to some gigs!!!

@earthwormgeorge - I got into the levellers via my sister when i was about 14ish,I'm now 26 so good on you! I don't mean by that that they're an old foggies band, and you will hear that, but seriously I've seen them live over 10 times and they are truely amazing.

Leave this town and 4 am are still my fave songs, but the song that got me into them was their classic 'Hope Street'.other faves are 'riverflow', 'celebrate', 'the boatman' and 'liberty'. There really is a song for every mood.

A bit late this reaction but nonetheless here it is.

The Levellers are one of the best live bands around for a very long time now.

Folk/rock at his best and it has a enormous enjoyable sound.
