Classy Mauritius

If anyone can help please, I need somewhere cheap! To stay when I go later this year near June 2012. I will spend a few months doing professional video & photography work on the island my dads from; also I will need a driver & tour guide for some of the time. I will be filming nature landscapes & the people/music culture. I speak only English shamefully! Went to Mauritius in April and well its amazing! Can't wait to move there one day.Mauritius is safe,I walked on the beach to my cousins house which takes like 80 mins there and back at night +walked around port louis without even feeling unsafe. Love you country guys!

i hate my country,hate the political leaders,especially the labour party,in mauritius,there is no tolerance between communities and we have got no meritocracy.its living hell here,i won't recommend a tourist to visit mauritius coz he is putting his life at stake.mauritius and its people are lame and hypocrites!!

I love this country!

I'm from denmark, and i was living there for 10 month in 1996.. i was 6 years old.

The people are so friendly and nice... and the island is just, AMAZING!

I't gets me angry to see those people who cant respect the nature.

Make the world a better place for everybody.

Just came back. Loved it. funny that some of you tell people not to go there due to murderous hotels... i went to two hotels for several days and came back feeling like i left paradise. anyways, 1 month vacation was to short. Enough said.

I think you watch a lot of movies, or completely disconnected from the real world. Let me remind you arabic countries aren;t any better. You should really get in touch with your arabic history...however some real history concerning arabs may be unknown to you cuz the guy who taught you arabic history was like you (unaware of his own arabic history). so shut up.

Do not visit this island a very nice couple visited this murdering island a few days ago on there honeymoon and the young new wife was killed by 3 mauritius native cleaners who worked in the hotel,they were trying to rob there hotel room, she tried to fight for her life as police found the killers skin under her nails.she was found by her husband face down in the bath.

Mauritius MURDER ISLAND- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU WONT BE KILLED !

That where I come from . It was my dream to be in england. I live in london and I love Manchester as I like football like many mauritian. I been working in hotels with tourist from around the world and its a wonderful place I recomend to anyone as it is the right place to be on hollyday. I miss you Mauritius and I love you.

My fathers mauritian.. I live in Australia but have been there once. It's a beautiful place, if your after total relaxation then Mauritius and it's tropical laid back atmosphere is a must!
