In the 90's Tom Snyder was the host of the Late Late Show after Letterman and he did a show in this format that also simulcast on TV and radio, but the powers that be didn't think it attracted an audience. To be fair, he was competiting with Conan O'Brien and people weatching TV that late would probably be more attracted to him.

Not technically the Northern Irish. Great Britain is England, Wales and Scotland, and the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

@HerdULeikMudkips you're completely correct, there IS a difference... Craig Ferguson is American... he is a naturalized U.S. citizen... so, his ethnic heritage may be Scottish, but he is not...

Stephen Fry is such a great speaker and one of those people who one can listen to without thinking about his sexuality, and just appreciate him for the superb human being that he is.

It's interesting to watch Craig's body language during this interview. I believe he is rather intimidated by Fry's presence and intellect. He's almost shy and apologetic in his questions.

Perhaps partly due to nerves from the alien format of the show, but I'm sure Craig feels insecure due to his Working Class roots.

This is actually a pretty good conversation they have (while I feel they loose their thoughts at time, not carrying them through) but I can't help but focus on how Ferguson's accent seems to be a lot more pronounced than normally.
