@dnanalahcnap They used to be. In the 90's Tom Snyder was the host of the Late Late Show after Letterman and he did a show in this format that also simulcast on TV and radio, but the powers that be didn't think it attracted an audience. To be fair, he was competiting with Conan O'Brien and people weatching TV that late would probably be more attracted to him.
@SaulMeyersz Stephen Fry is very well known in the U.S. providing of course you don't belong to the brain dead masses that park their asses in front of the tube to watch every minute of every "reality" show aired ( you American Idol, etc. fans know who you are)
@HerdULeikMudkips no Britain was created in 1707 when Scotland and England jointed in union. did you bother looking up the facts first, because you've just denied Craig of his nearly 40 years of British cizenship.
Not technically the Northern Irish. Great Britain is England, Wales and Scotland, and the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
@KaitainCPS Em, no. I don't know where you went to School, but Great Britain is a land mass. Specifically the island that Scotland, England and Wales inhabit. The United Kingdom is a political entity that includes Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. So you have no idea what the fuck your talking about.
@HerdULeikMudkips you're completely correct, there IS a difference... Craig Ferguson is American... he is a naturalized U.S. citizen... so, his ethnic heritage may be Scottish, but he is not...

@Morgam06 I know its weird that i ask, but could people with such condition be able to know what mood they are in? you seem to know, and i imagine if you can feel it and say it like yourself, then it is a severe case.?
@pakk82 Believe me, one knows when one is on a low, im sure during daily life you personally know when you are either happy or sad, its no different for me, mine are just more severe.
You know, watching this and then watching the complete insanity that is Craig's usual show, he is one talented and versatile guy. I have been watching the Late Late Show since Tom Snyder and Craig is one of the best talents that no one has ever heard of...well, except for us insomniacs...

Stephen Fry is such a great speaker and one of those people who one can listen to without thinking about his sexuality, and just appreciate him for the superb human being that he is.
It's interesting to watch Craig's body language during this interview. I believe he is rather intimidated by Fry's presence and intellect. He's almost shy and apologetic in his questions.
Perhaps partly due to nerves from the alien format of the show, but I'm sure Craig feels insecure due to his Working Class roots.
This is actually a pretty good conversation they have (while I feel they loose their thoughts at time, not carrying them through) but I can't help but focus on how Ferguson's accent seems to be a lot more pronounced than normally.
Stephen Fry talks about how everyone is kind of insecure really, and his experience with bipolar disorder. In the most chillaxed and down to earth way possible.
Fry articulates so well things I have felt for years and not heard anyone echo. Thank you for posting.

@Zodiacrin Well, was an inhabitant of Great Britain. He's a proper American now, if I'm not mistaken.

No, Scotland is a part of Great Britain. Therefore, Ferguson is British, since he is an inhabitant of Great Britain.

@HerdULeikMudkips A welsh, scottish, english, and northern irish person can call themselves British. Britain means all those places united.
