well well, people look different. in every country!
I like this "game". It helped me to get started with learning japanese and is a good way to learn hirigana and katakana. before i go to sleep i train a few mintues every day.
Well i think i already have played it over 100 hours and now learned the kanji for first graders ^^
@Wihpri77 He just said everyone please do your best! Lol I learning Japanese in school right now and I have to say this game is REALLY good I've been using it for a day and I have improved by at least 5% now I know that doesn't sound like much but I already knew most and mastery points take FOREVER to get lol I'm using this game for EXTRA EXTRA help because everyone in my class hates me and puts me down now I'm going to get back at them by knowing more :D LMAO
@ImAsianIchigo yes there's a little difference, but it's not like you can accurately tell a northeast asian's ethnicity by their eyes or cheekbones, you know? :o
like apparently south koreans generally have higher cheekbones and japanese people have weak jaws and stuff like that. it doesn't mean japanese or chinese people can't have high cheek bones, etc
I know, I'm just saying how it is technically easy stuff covered to more advanced people, of course if you've never heard a single word in Japanese or know nothing, then you won't do well. (Btw, now I'm on lesson 81 :)
omfg!!! 1000 lessons!! it could be because japanese people must know at least like 2.000 kanjis, so to get that i think u need 1000 lessons it could be...but this game really surprises me because its not just basic japanese, its really advanced:O
I wanted to put sound but I think it's not absolutely necessary. Besides the listening exercise, the only sound you hear is the bg music and the sound for correct/incorrect answers. If you can read kana the screen says "Jouzu = good," plus it's color coded.
@teamjacobbella32 Nope, no German learning game afaik. Perhaps a Game to Learn Englisch by German. Just reverse it :D

Yeah but aren't there any mistakes in this game..
I'm pretty sure it was spelled sayonara or I'm terribly mistaken..
I wonder if I can trust this game..
FUZ3TTE 2 years ago
it's not sayonara... it's really sayoonara for romaji and さようなら maybe if you actually knew how the spelling works you could understand the game
bakemono858 1 year ago
@FUZ3TTE
I'm a low intermediate in Japanese, tried out the game... it was surprisingly really good.

OMG Seriously???This Game Is A Lie??? This Is Horrible!!All The Japanese I Learned Is A Lie??
EsterKake10 2 years ago
no it's not but your kanas are probably wrong which is a very important thing.
Then again many books are still better than this game.

I cannot trust this game...
Because this woman's dress is a South Korean dress.
And Her eyes and cheek seem to be a South Korean's.

maybe the game was made in korea
ultratrin 2 years ago
That's funny, because the sash is under the bust where the obi for kimonos are placed. The korean dress sash are placed on the bustline itself.
Silly, learn your national costumes.

response to teriyakinasu
floptimus 2 years ago
@teriyakinasu the dress is a kimono, and south koreans wear hanboks. the eyes are the same for most east asians, and do cheeks tell anything?
katherinechunky 1 year ago
@katherinechunky The eyes are not the same, i see a difference in korean and japanese, and cheeks are different too.
ImAsianIchigo 1 year ago

@katherinechunky True , but since this is just a drawing, it is suposed to be drawn like how a japanese looks like xd

I got 50/50 when I took this test. :P It was too simple. So far I'm like on lesson 70.
tayo66 3 years ago
It is not too simple for ALL.
There are people who have never heard a single word in japanese so dont talk about the test like that.
I got 47/50 but i have studied a little of japenese in the past thats why it wasnt so DIFFICULT for me.
c ya :)

oh i see!!
Gratz for lesson 81 xD
Dont u know how many lessons they are??
matiasmab21 3 years ago
Well, the back of the box says 1000 lessons and 10,000 words to learn. That seems kinda hard to believe, but I'll see.
tayo66 3 years ago

matiasmab21 3 years ago
Well, so far, I've learned all 80 1st grade kanji and 20 of the 2nd grade kanji.
tayo66 3 years ago
IIRC, the average Japanese person knows about 2,500 Kanji characters. Starting from grade school throughout their lifetime.

I wanted to put sound but I think it's not absolutely necessary. Besides the listening exercise, the only sound you hear is the bg music and the sound for correct/incorrect answers. If you can read kana the screen says "Jouzu = good," plus it's color coded.
