Well technically Cloud never loved Aerith those were Zacks emotions acting through him. He has always been in love with Tifa which is what made him so confused about his emotions in the first place. This is all somewhat explained in Crisis Core and Advent Children.

Nope it's cloud and aerith, tifa and cloud never had a connection with each other as a girlfriend and boyfriend.

Square enix released books of the events after final fantasy VII and before advent children, these books state it's aerith and cloud. there is no proof of tifa and cloud and no it's not explained in crisis core, he does not mention her at all until they go on the mission. when he saved her, that was a childhood promise they made, nothing of a relationship.

@tif9123 I'm sorry but you see... I really don't know which books of FFVII you read, but the FFVII Ultimania went as far as to call Tfia Clouds "Koibito" - what means nothing less than "Lover".

Besides that there is the scene under the Highwind mentioned, explained with the line "they expressed thier feelings" - and a notion that it was supposed to be a more obvious scene - with both of them coming out of the chocobo box holding hands... that's pretty straigth CloudxTifa stuff.

to tell u the trust i'm not a big fan of cloud and aeris but i do love cloud and tifa even you heard that little girl from advent children that he doesnt care abut them anymore and even though aeris dies and he feels guilty dude i mean she said to move onn! besides if he doesnt go with tifa the world might end!

With tifa - she's his first love, and he cares for her deeply.Vice versa.

Aerith - probably he love her because he's being "zackified", but i believe aerith is the person cloud can open up too (he finds it difficult to talk to tifa)

But then aerith dies, and he's consumed by guilt, causing him being quite a jerk to tifa, but well, I'm a CloTi fan!!!

CloTi. Dunno why, I'm just a big fan of them. And I have my own theory for the pairings to connect. -cough-: Cloud loved Aerith, so when she died he became somewhat depressed. Tifa has always loved him and wants him to move on, hence the, 'A memory or us?' thing. So at teh end of the movie, I theorize that he's realizing his own feelings for Tifa. Yeah. ^^; Anyway, amazing vid! Loveit!

Exactly. He was even too ashamed to show himself to Tifa in Niebelhiem since he didn't make SOLDIER.

Also......during the whole entire game I never got the Aerith scenes...Tifa Date and Night under the Highwind was what I got.
