Act 1 gave us this cheerful vibe of a calm beach island. Come Act 2 and that cheerful vibe is gone, with the peace of the islanf brough to its knees by Robotnik's deadly machine. The part from 0:42 - 1:02 hammered in on the already more serious tone and threat Robotnik is this time.

Btw, anyone feeling nostalgic with the Flying Battery's magnetic pull to the siren sounds onces that part comes?

@SOUTHWESTENZ Sonic 3 was the real deal. It's gonna be hard for Sega to release a better Sonic game someday. Well, I haven't played the ones on the 32X nor Sega CD to be fair.

The problem with the game boy advance, it had 2 ways of playing sounds : the old one like on the Game Boy and Nintendo, and the DAC that allows playing mp3 sounds. They used the old way, instead of using the DAC converter. And in comparison to the Genesis, the GBA had a poor sound system (except for the DAC)

@FurizankFan sorry dude, it wasn't my intention, but i need to recognize that sega has lied to us about that "classic sonic epic return in sonic 4!", sonic 4 was nothing but a half-arse hd-pre-rendenred graphics remake of the old sonic games, and a bad one i would say, they didn't even make a similar gameplay engine, and this is something that even fans can do, they've just used that clunky sonic rush engine without boosting. IMO "Sonic 4" was just a title sega gave to sell more.

It's true Sonic 4 had nothing on the classic Genesis trilogy (including S&K in with 3), but by no means was it a 'crap' game, there are certainly worse Sonic titles - Sonic 06, The Secret Rings, Black Knight - just to name a few, I'd never rank it aside the likes of Sonic 1 - 3 but I don't like hearing it being classed as the crap Sonic Team were feeding us a few years ago.
