  • ShadiAdwarMousa, you are wrong. Many of turkish folklore are taken from kurdish folklore. Like Lorke lorke, Cane cane, Delilo and many more.

    Even these instruments are kurdish or "Indo Iranian". Like Zurna, Davul and Kemenche are kurdish instruments.

    Zurna is borrowed from old Iranian word Sûrnây which means Sûr = feast, strong and nây = flute, pipe.

    Kemenche which is also borrowed from the kurdish word kemance => Keman = violin and ce = little.
