America's FDA seem very careful about what they will relase to the public anyway as they seem to be very strict. And anyway there is NO scientific evidence to support that milk causes cancer or any other health problems. The CATO institute disregarded this in 1998 when a study was carried out that lasted 2 years, and nothing could be found.

The risk of infection would be massive, deceases never stay the same, they mutate and change. One of the reasons we dont eat dog is the risk of rabies virus and mange. Both of these cases dont show symptoms untill later in devlopment, If this were true there would be a massive outbreak already. And simply put, there has never been one.

@simonhurst0707, the FDA banned the feeding of protein from cud-chewing animals to ruminants (cattle to cattle) as a result of mad cow disease. To the degree that the law is enforced, cows are no longer the cannibals that the meat industry had turned them into. They aren't fed on other cows, sheep, or goats. However, they are still fed ground-up cats, dogs, pigs, horses, turkeys and chickens, as well as fecal matter and blood from chickens and their own species.

USDA stamp of appoval is then pasted on that packaging.
The hamburger now sold in America, that once suitable only for dog food, is what Americans eat.

It takes more than 2,400 gallons of water to produce 1 pound of meat, while growing 1 pound of wheat only requires 25 gallons. A vegan diet requires only 300 gallons of water per day, while a meat-eating diet requires more than 4,000 gallons of water per day.

@CDLve Is your ignorance driven by a lack of iron and protien? or do you go through life with your eyes shut? I pointed out penn and teller because it was very accurate information. and all you can do is point out is the fur coats, KFC and the fact they also do sideshows. BIG DEAL!!! The information was correct and true. do the reasearch yourself. its all there its all public record. You PeTA people kill animals yourself. you're a bunch of hypocrits.

My god you need to go back to school. saying that penn and teller dont know anything about animals, well thats like saying that ALL of the celebs that PeTA has going on for them dont know anything either. @CDLver Next you'll be telling me that chimps dont eat meat. they are one of our closest ancestors as researched by the CATO institute but all the peta supporters will say they are vegetarians. which is totally untrue. all primates eat meat. you've protested outside the Department of animal services and the National animal intrest allience accross the US. your group even targets peoples homes to protest, now thats just low.

As for Patti Strand of the deceptively-named National Animal Interest Alliance [calling PETA a "death cult"], an organisation she founded along with Adrian Morrison, DVM, PhD, a biomedical researcher who experiments on animals, she is a front for animal commerce and agribusiness lobbying against the passage of any laws designed to protect puppy-mill dogs.
What a coincidence that Strand is a Dalmatian breeder, an AKC board member, and also opposes spay and neuter legislation.

Jerry Greenwalt was a miserable animal abusing profiteer. @simonhurst0707, yes, PETA did indeed protest outside of Los Angeles Department of Animal Services. PETA took to the streets to demand the resignation of Jerry Greenwalt because he routinely failed to protect animals from being beaten by workers as the General Manager of L.A.'s Department of Animal Services. PETA was successful in securing Greenwalt's resignation in April 2004! What you did not learn from the penn & teller video is the reason why PETA took to the streets.

@simonhurst0707, During Greenwalt's tenure, animals were routinely abused by shelter workers. The case in point that sparked the protest seen in the penn & teller video was the cat, Tigra, who was beaten with a broom by a worker causing the cat "to go senseless and collapse to the floor as if [s]he was dead with no motion or sound." Tigra subsequently died from her injuries.
That fact was conveniently omitted from penn & tellers' anti-PETA propaganda video. Now, what else have you?
