  • what airlines is the Boeing 747 at 5:41 ?? i want that 747 to restore it

  • @Zac827 It's amazing ppl still believe one of these flimsy things can fully penetrate a structural steel building.

Doubt any flt hr left on them, aluminum fatigues.

  • I want that brazilia at 4:38 and a 747 Id LOVE!! TO!! GO!! HERE!!!!!!!

  • like a kid in a candy store

  • I would LOVE to go mess about in a place like that!

  • @cashman156 Heck yeah man i could spend like all day just looking through all the planes!

  • Notice they have taken all the wheels of them to make sure no one fly's off with one :P I would personaly if I knew how to fly one :D

  • 10K? the alloy in a 747 should fetch a lot more money... you could in theory make a profit. more, if you got a hold of the engines.

  • thnx for the video, awsome.

  • Is that legal?

  • I could spend all day there! would love to buy and restore one of those planes.

  • do u have to work there to go there?

  • i wish i could go there....... =/

  • Sad to see these 747's going for scrap.

  • can outsiders get some scraps of metal? just for souvenirs?

  • Have you guys just done it all so cant be bothered or what ? But I cant see any videos of you actually showing interesting stuff going inside the planes showing us the cabin and cockpit, All we see is one dude running around getting to see inside them.

  • i wish i was there ..

  • How do you get into the graveyards?

  • @jtlsdream I guess its a secret..

  • Would be interesting to bring camera inside 747s also

  • If only they could talk!

  • Wait????so any one can go in here???

  • The Starships were chopped up for liability reasons. The company bought them all back and cut them up to reduce liability.

  • @RobertGary1 There are still a few Starships out there flying and some guy bought all the spare parts from Beechcraft.

  • i want a cockpit seat of a boeing 767 or 757, u kno where can i get these

  • You can order them. They run around $15,000. There are lots of these birds still flying and an enormous amount of money in parts for them.

  • can anyone go into the junkyard

  • ... and the keep telling us to save energy ...

  • can anyone go here?

  • that would be a great place to take pictures too

  • All the airliners are just dyin to go here and so am I

  • they are too expensive to operate for the most part. others possibly have timed out airframes

  • Next time when i am driving to las vegas i and gonna stop by and pickup some airliners seats for my room

  • Excellent footage. I love this.

  • Does anyone know why some of these aircraft that still looks in good conditions are retaired at this place?

  • I'am sure some aircraft like these are still flying in worse conditions in the porest countries around the world. What do you think??

  • FAA wont let them fly so many due to 'wear and tear' specs! a few bad stress fractures and they scrap the whole thing! lotsa nice high quality aliminum there, wow!

  • I'm just wondering if anybody can just go there, take out some aircraft parts you might find useful at home or for keeps without anyone getting their attention for what you took?

  • Danm son, i never new the spoilers on a 747 were so god damn massive.

  • cool alot of flying time sitting there....wow

  • This is a really sad view for aviation enthusiasts. Of course it's impossible to put a full 747 under the garage of a standard person, but that logical thought is still unable to make me feel comfortable while seeing these "birds of freedom" ending up like that. By the way, i wonder i could at least put a 60's F-104 under my garage... RIP.

  • good point, if the FAA wont let them fly, at least give me a free boeing to put in my back yard LOL (that will be too big)

  • and one last one. the b-17 there was used in a james bond movie :D

  • sry for teh comment spamming, but this just gets better and better. right outside this airport is the evergreen air museum, which houses the spruce goose, and a few months ago i read an article in... air and space magazine or something, and now that i think of it, it turns out theres a CIA b-17 housed here that dropped off agents in russia during the cold war.

  • Lucky russia.

  • ive heard about a DC9 horizontal stabilizer being used as a desk. THAT is awesome. damn, i wish i lived in the southwest. im up in NY, and its the exact opposite of a place aircraft should be stored. im thousands of miles away from the nearest one, in NC.

  • where the hell is that place? i know of 15 or so graveyards, which one is that? i cant find "teardown" anywhere. is it mojave, chino, AMARG, marana, falcon field, roswell, kingman, goodyear, hawkins & powers, george AFB, el mirage, china lake, ryan field, maxton, or edwards AFB?

  • how do you get there?

  • Wow ... I would love to prowl around there on vacation some year. Thanks for the vid. 5/5 stars

  • interesting. thank you for shwing us that world....

  • this is a great clip !!!

MORE PLZ !!! Love the diff airline paint schemes ,ect !!!

  • Are there any TWA 747s' left at Evergreen AC?

  • Sweet!!! I worked at Marana in 1980 for Evergreen. Looks like a hundred times the a/c than we had back then. They only stored and repaired back then.

  • Thats awesome - i want to climb those Jumbos too... :)

  • Wait you are allowd to go in a airplan grave yard???? if so cool

  • what does he throw out of the 747?

  • Makes you wonder where those birds have been and what they've seen. If only they could talk!

  • @flyboymd82

I agree man. Makes you sad doesn't it? :/

  • poor old girls..... =(

  • it reminds you how big the planes realy were

  • Whereever this is, this is my next holidays' destiny. Like a playground for big boys, yay! xD

  • whoa if you watch this in high quality its AMAZIN!! lol

  • i wish i had a place like that in my backyard, i could stay there forever

  • and if you did have it i would come there and play with lol im gonna go here some time

  • i will shoot all trespassers on sight! it is mine your hear? MINE!

  • ;-)

  • i will pay lol

  • why you idiot film the ground 50 % of Video ???

  • Would make a great location for a horror story!

    Hey John Carpenter, c'mere!

  • i don't know english:

all person can go in there?

  • If you can find it, you can go in it. It's in the middle of the desert, so good luck.

  • thanks dude

  • I'll just take a heli or look on the internet lol it's easier that way :)

  • Where is this boneyard? Mohave? Or at that place east of Pheonix south of I-10?

  • I like how you guys did the hands-on video rather than putting faggoty music in the background, and you both have a great since of humor too, thanks for posting

  • Use bikes or your feet at least lazy guys ! ;)

  • Hey you evergreen boys...hope Del Smith don't catch you slacking off from work...lol. Nice vid...sad to see them ol' birds rot away. Thanks for the sharing. (Ex PDX Evergreen employee) What was that military helicopter doing?...shopping for the CIA for their next airplane to save and used for some covert operations?

  • fyi, there actually is a boneyard thats an ex-cia base ;)

  • actually, now that i think of it, ITS THIS ONE!

  • all the Beech Starcraft got grounded and scrapped or teaching aid no more in flight...

  • That's too bad, as that's a gorgeous plane.

  • Can you take stuff as a visitor ? I mean scrap and so...

  • I agree with nolimit909....Let's see the inside!

  • i dont want 2 see a dude acting his shoe size !!WE wanna see the inside of the planes!!!!!!!!

  • never mind

  • is sad accually they could be reused just need some maitenece [anyway were is the place great for my room!]

  • are there any fighter jet scraps, or are the just airliners?

  • Wish i could see what was inside that SP, no chance now, i'm sure she's gone, please post some other vids of this content please.

    Cheers :)

  • The tail of that SP went to Waco for mock up to a airborne IR telescope with a door on the side of the plane that opens in flight..... A billion dollar plane called "SOFIA"

  • is it open to the puplic

  • where is this place?

  • I wish i could get some old airliner seats.

  • this is so sweet

  • Get a job there and they will let you take all the plane scraps you can carry!! A 747 shell sells for $10,000

  • @kamperkitjay wait so ur saying u can just go into a freakin place like this and take stuff off the plane and sell it!!?

  • This video is the coolest thing I have ever seen! I live in Chandler and am a plane freak, done stop and goes in Marina just to get a quick look at these, This is the reason they invented computers! GREAT VIDEO! Wish I could get some 747 scrap for my garage!!

  • Just west of Tucson on the 10 freeway.. Marana Arizona.. you can google earth it!!

  • WHERE IS THIS PLACE ?

  • Yeah, I live off of Cortaro, I'm pretty familiar with that area. Oh well, thanks anyways.

  • Is this Tucson? If so, is it open to the public?
