  • The bridge at the end doesn't really sound right. The notes are different from the key of the chords there i think. I'm not quite sure. But its still really good for the rest :)

  • @cassierox94 yeeehh good ear!! no i know for sure its different. i first learnt to play this song back in july, almost a year ago when someone went to one of her early promo shows for KH even before it was released i learned it by ear. I now have the song book and i know its wrong i'm just far too lazy to redo the version on here.

  • woah ! your the best!

your music skills + my voice= the best collaboration... (hoping =D)

  • this is great! is there anyway i could get a link to the download???

  • I'm guessing that it would probably work for guitar--most sheet music I've seen includes chords that can be read for either instrument. On another note (see what I did there?), this instrumental cover is really good!

  • hey PLEASE do a tutorial. :/ btw. can i use guitar chords? just wondering..

  • hey PLEASE do a tutorial. :/

  • Now I can practice!! =)

  • you speed up a lot but its over all good!

  • I was singing this and I sang "so dont ask me how to get started, its all un-farted" :/ I really messed up the lyrics this time :P

  • Could you possibly do a piano tutorial? I'd LOVE to learn this song! :)

  • I just got Sara Bareilles's Kaleidoscope Heart songbook today and this is the first song off her book I intend to learn. You work quick! Did you get all this from listening to it or do you have the sheets to it? Because the book only came out like a month or so ago.

  • @thewilsonexperience yeaah i did this all by ear before the cd even came out. Someone got her on video playing it live back in july and i just fell in love with it so i learned to play it. I did however, just get the song book from her concert last week and noticed some of my chords are slightly off, i've just been to lazy to fix them.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! You're awesome. Would you consider doing a piano tutorial?? pleeeeease?! ;)

  • Just in case you didnt know, the scale is Db

so the notes are Db Eb F Gb Ab Bb C

    not C# D# F F# G# A# C

  • @psnHEATON77 Thanks I know, i have a degree in music, but in teaching piano lessons for years i've found that for beginners its much easier to tell them C# then Db both of which essentially are the same key, the only reason i call the chord F instead of E# is because the idea of E# confuses alot of people, same goes with C instead of B#.

  • amazing, thank you so much! :) please do "hold my heart" by sara bareilles?

  • @AiminiNet funny you should ask, i know almost all of them but i just havent gotten around to recording them, i'll do hold my heart next.

On a separate note, thank you so much for this <333

  • @lordxofxfaerie oh my, youtube didnt even tell me this comment was here. I've been a little busy lately, but i promise i'll get to hold my heart really soon. I know how to play it already its just a matter of finding some quiet time to record.

  • @lordxofxfaerie Hold My Heart is now up :)

  • @AiminiNet Holy my Heart is now up :)

  • i didnt even see them haha thank youuu :)

  • this is amazing! could you post the piano chords for this? because ive been looking everywhere and cant seem to find them

  • @ksa8181 chords are in the video info section :)

  • this is so good! could you post the chords by any chance? ive been looking for them everywhere and cant seem to find them

  • AWESOME COVER!!!!!!

do you play the chords with both hands? or do you vary the left hand?

and what do the chords in the parentheses mean?

  • @jcbee71115 oops, i had the chords in parenthesis for my other cover of this song, like 2 months ago before i knew what it actually sounded like, in my other cover i dont play the chords in parenthesis.

As for the left hand i usually just play roots in octaves, sometimes throw in a passing note, i dont really have a method i just kinda do it.
