cool, thanks for the info.. one thing that made me ask was i have seen others(shiva rea etc) do the same thing.. i had thought that it might actually be part of the exercise. thanks again :)
excellent demo of the surya namaskara. especially for me as a beginner.. one thing i have noticed tho.. is the small steps/bending of the legs during the downward dog.. is this merely a casual thing, or part of the exercise?
It helps at the beginning of you practice to provide an extra stretch to the hamstrings. These subtle stretches are also very soothing and considerate.
