I'm without words WOW!!! did'nt know they made these in commercial design.The last thing I saw like this was in Queens near flushing where the guys used to fly models but they were props.Does this really have some kind of mico jet engine or is it a sound pack onboard.Great flying too..

@EinkOLED not really, it's pretty normal. in large scale rc aircraft, people try to stand out and be unique. there's been several dozen of these large dc-10's built and flown. but only this one has been painted in that livery. like with the two large a380's built, so far only the factory colors and etihad have been used. most likely, whomever comes next, will not used either of those two. and it will continue like that until all liveries have been covered.

This was not the Maiden flight... I built and flew that plane for years then sold it.

New engines were installed and it was repainted. It only lasted two flight with the new owner ....

5,000.0? If it actually 50000, i would guss about 90% of it was spend on buying those jet engines right? Wow, I dont know wat to tell you, I would play with a budget of around 1000.0 max.

Nope. Really about $50,000. Most of turbine rc jets like F-18's, F-16's, Rafale, etc etc cost around 10-13k. My twin F-18 is about 15k. There is a guy right now build a 1:8 scale SR-71 down in Missouri. I figure 3 yrs of his time building from scratch, and about 30k invested, will be worth a lot more than 50k.
