  • My grandma has a cell phone. she turns it on calls someone, if they don't answer she turns it right off again and nobody can call her back. SoooooOOoOoooO frustrating.

  • my grandmas are both dead

  • that grandma is hot some one give me her info

  • My grandma won't even touch computer stuff or even a console controller, has hard enough time with cell phones, she won't learn and thinks computers will go all terminator on us one day haha

  • 1:08 my grandma doesn't have a case like that... :D

  • @kameraman99 HAHA looks like grandma has an Antec!!!

  • My grandma still handwrites her letters or uses a typewriter

  • My grandma doesn't even know how to turn on the damn computer.

  • @MultiTeriyaki ah hahhahahhahha my granDma don't know too! XD

  • Grandma will change to x50

  • lol my mother can barely use the familys pentium 4 machine

  • where's the liquid cooling ?

  • lol she is a faceroll blood elf dk. (ill just pwn her on my warrior)

  • get her some ln2 and a pot!

  • my grandmothers dead, this video makes me cry.

  • I can't believe grandma has such a bling PC (1:02)

  • i hate when videos say: " So easy your grandmother can do it"

it just rubs how stupid i am in my face

  • I can understand people who overclock when they hit a performance wall but I can't understand overclocking for the sake of it when your PC can already run the games sweet as. Nor why some people act like it is mandatory for a decent gaming experience. Uh.

  • 0:34 --> Gay Down ! Gay Down!

  • it was literally one value change in bos. awesome.

  • Im a noob I dont have lots of money so everything I do with computers thats not stock scares the shit out of me just to prove that im getting a h100 to watercool my cpu and I dont want to overclock (i5 2500k)

  • @crazychainsaw007 Why the hell would you get a h100 to cool a non-overclocked i5 2500k? Why are you even getting the 2500k if you aren't going to overclock it? Get the i5 2500, 2400, or even 2300 and use the stock cooler... You're just wasting money that you "apparently" don't have, yet you somehow can afford a 2500k...

  • @Dewnby saved up for 3 years to make a 1800$ build

  • @Dewnby >Not spending an extra 20 bucks to have the option of overclocking in the future.

    You just went full retard.

  • @Necropedocoprophilia Not if you are never going to overclock it like he said... also you still can overclock it, its just harder. YOU just went full retard. Read original comments more.

p.s. How the hell do you pronounce your username?

  • @Dewnby >HAVING THE OPTION

People change their minds, you fat fucking retard.

    Also:

    >How the hell do you pronounce your username?

How the fuck can anyone not have the ability to sound out "Necro-Pedo-Copro-Philia" and still have the ability to overclock? Bro, you're fucking retarded.

  • @Necropedocoprophilia You have sex with dead children?

  • @AngryKittehPoo Nice reading comprehension, you forgot the "copro" part.

  • @Necropedocoprophilia Yeah whatever. I've spent to much time talking to you anyway. Bye :)

  • look at the pc (left down) that she's got :O

  • i have the 2500k !! at 4.3 ghz

  • @joshodst I have it at 4.8ghz :) But had to buy a cooler

  • @SoftwareTutorial stability is the problem for me not heat

  • @joshodst what voltage do you prefer for 4 ghz?

  • She didnt change the vcore at all. That is gonna be unstable :P

  • @SoftwareTutorial To go up .2GHz...

  • What's a bius bios byos byus thing you speak of, and when I get there what's this multiplier? Do I have to change one or 17 of them?

  • i wanna this grandma!

  • 1:00 that looks like an antec 900 case

  • I have that shirt that the dude's wearing! (Video games ruined my life. Good thing I have two extra lives.) <3 Zelda

  • But what Grandma would do if the voltage turn out too small ?

  • @SebeekS she would probably rma her processor cause its not working anymore itz freezing and going to some weird blue screen

  • @SebeekS grandma will tell you that your are fuck

  • @sparkx936 wrong!

  • I gots me a qx9770, i know its last gen but that thing screams and is faster than the 2600k

  • Nah i think i stick with AMD Phenom II x6 3,2Gh/z... AT LEAST ITS NOT CONSTANTLY CRASHING LIKE THE Intel Core i-7 2600QM 2,9Gh/z D: Intel what a peace of shit...

  • @Lillajohan123 Ok, so you just compared a desktop CPU with a laptop CPU. You don't think the slight difference in platform might be the reason your running into issues?

  • @Carbonific Well the fil here was that i wrote the wronge name on the processer :P FAIL Yes i admit... Well the Intel Core i-7 don't remember t´wich one i hade but it couldent even compile a map for counter Strike source 2007 engine, and it was 2,9Gh/z it was like fuck this while my old AMD Athlon 64 x2 2,19Gh/z was doing the jobb great it compiled all sorts of maps but it was really old and lather broke so it was time for new pc :3 So i got intel core i-7 well i was dissapo...

  • okay so itired this out and my computer just shut down and i cant turn it on im on my laptop right now

  • @Muraz72 Reset the CMOS jumper. There should be a little blue cap on 2 pins by the battery on your motherboard. Take it off, try to boot again, turn it off completely, and put it back on. Your computer should start at stock settings.

  • and now with dice

  • mhm. what grandma will do with that gaming pc? :DD

  • damn. grandma has a nicer computer than i do.

  • Just get a Extreme version of Intel for her, Overclock will be too hot for your CPU, the extreme version already done it for you.

  • @jnnycliff Extreme versions are easier to overclock. Not all CPU's are the same, they are tested and ones that don't pass off for an extreme version are sold as a non extreme version. You may be able to overclock non extreme versions by a lot, but it may not be stable. You have to thoroughly check for error's. Extreme versions are more likely to require lower voltages at higher clock rates, keeping them more stable and produce less heat.

  • @Ang3lsCurse yeah, i don't get it people like to overclock their cpu when they can put like $100 more for a better one. I only build extreme CPU for myself and my client. a little pricy but they better off in the future, now aday CPU so powerful and the only drawback is hard drive speed. so I recommend people stop overclock their CPU instead buy a better one and fast HDD, also a nice graphic card, not everything bad they can blame on CPU.

  • @jnnycliff An SSD has better latency and power consumption, but you still have a lot of issues. The interfaces and how storage works is the same and needs to be updated, though the controllers on the ssd's themselves are different, they aren't adequate. All these new sockets from intel :S No reason they can't do a dramatic interface change when you have to buy a new motherboard anyway. One day all will be good, the ram will share cpu/gpu, and storage slot directly in to motherboard :)

  • @jnnycliff people over clock becasue they can receive the same preformace from say a i5-2500k compared to an i7-980 guess which ones costs more? its self explanitory why people overclock, I dont do it to show off my skillz. I do it to save money. $100 can get you a better graphics card rather than a cpu that cant be over clocked and costs more. its like hav'n ps/2 ports on mobos. really... just ship a mobo with a ps/2 to usb converter. get outa the stone age.

  • @SeanofZeus Not saying it can't, but it will hurt in the long run. I build so many computers and I learn my lesson by overclocking computer. once you teach people over clock and they keep overclocking it all the time the CPU seem to die within 1 year or two. I just hate to have customer bring it back to me said My computer is trash. That's is nothing wrong with overclock but when you break it it's everything wrong. I mean what is 1Ghz gonna do for you anyway? get a good CPU is worth more.

  • @jnnycliff overclocking just 1ghz? seems unlikly that a cpu will die just from that. might be possibly stretching a 3.2ghz up to 5.2ghz like asus guy did with paul from newegg. but upping 1ghz doesnt seem like ti would be an issue. it might more be from a unstable cpu overclock or just lack of overclock knowledge that killed a cpu. and as long as you keep the system cool it soudnt have a problem. anyone who overclocks on air is just a moron. invest in water cooling please before overclocking.

  • My grandma couldnt figure how to use the TV remote controle yet -_-

  • Why the fuck didn't I ever see this ad on TV!!!!

  • its should be a joke or what ?

  • my grand ma likes to over clock !!!

She really likes it to make CPU core as rice cooker temperature..

  • lol this is great

  • I let my grandma do it and now my system won't turn on.... DAM U INTEL!

  • @x20mega bahahahaha lmao

  • HAHA so many kids are going to whack the multiplier to the max and crap out their CPU.

Altough, would of been funnier if Intel also suggested increasing voltage ^^

Would of found out what 1.8v does to a cpu on a stock cooler

  • Ahh lets see... lemme just change the multiplier here... (CPU catches on fire). God dammit!!! But it was supposed to be so easy...

  • If it's that easy to overclock that CPU. It has to have been underclocked from the factory lol. So basically you're normalclocking it.

  • i did your grandma

  • sorry you forgot the vcore and a better cooler, noobs will do this and kill there pc with out knowing the extra steps to take

  • @TomoSLB It won't kill their PC, the system will simply BSOD and restart until they learn that you need more voltage to run that that certain clock speed.

  • @dchains BSOD? is it worth it to pay $99 to have the company overclock my cpu for 30% or more? or is it better to do it myself? I'm gonna buy an H60 liquid cooler.

  • @don2xify It's best to learn it yourself instead of paying people to do it.

  • @dchains Is it hard to overclock i7 2600k?

  • @don2xify Generally overclocking is easy, it only starts to really get complicated when you want to break records.

It really just a matter of raising the multiplier in the BIOS, make sure to raise the voltages when necessary to achieve higher overclocks, you need to have decent enough cooling too etc and if something goes wrong the system will usually just BSOD and restart or sometimes it doesn't pass POST. There a few things to it and if you're unsure just look everything up.

  • @dchains BSOD? POST? umm what's the maximum voltage i should get? and i got h60 water cooler, will that be good enough? I want to overclock it to at least 4.5ghz or higher

  • @don2xify The character count for Youtube comments is too small for me to explain all of that in detail. So google what Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and Power on Self Test (POST) is if you don't understand what those are, there really is no maximum voltage, higher overclocks generally require higher voltages to run so if you move up from say 3.2GHz to 3.8GHz and it's unstable that generally means you need up the voltage. A Corsair H60 should be decent enough for a chip at 4.5GHz.

  • @dchains ohh.. but i've heard that if you make the voltage higher it will destroy the cpu or something.. like there were limits..

what about 4.8 ghz? xD will corsair h60 still be good enough? 4.8ghz will probably be the maximum i'd overclock it..

  • @don2xify It is true that there are maximum recommend voltages and generally in the BIOS the voltage numbers that are red are the ones that are the ''maximum'' voltages, though you can go past it if you need to but you shouldn't have to. You can really only destroy your CPU because of excessive heat and super high volts, but you shouldn't have to go that high. Read up online though.

The Corsair H60 might struggle a little with a 2600k at 4.8GHz, but the temps should still be fairly exceptable.

  • @dchains Oh..What's a good cooling system for a 4.8 ghz?

  • @don2xify One of the best air cooler on the market is the Noctua NH-D14, though it's huge though so your case might not be able to fit it. The best kind of cooling a mainstream overclocker/gamer/enthusiast can install is custom water cooling it takes maintenance and time though but the cooling is great.

Prolimatech makes some great heatsinks too, i haven't been keeping up on the latest and greatest heatsinks to hit the market though so i can't name a whole lot off the top of my head.

  • @dchains ohh.. but the corsair h60 is a water cooler...

  • @don2xify The H60 is a closed loop water cooling kit, i'm talking about custom water cooling. Custom water cooling generally has bigger tubing, far better CPU water blocks and even better liquid running through the tubes. An H60 can't come close to a custom water cooled setup.

You have to do a lot more to setup and maintain a custom water cooling loop though.

  • @dchains ohh..what's the safe heat for a cpu? and what's like a bit above safe and not safe..?

  • @don2xify It all depends, just look it up online and try and find what kind of temps other people are getting and what cooler their using. Obviously if the temperature of your chip is 80c-100c at regular load like gaming etc, then you have a problem. But some CPU's expel more heat then others because they suck down more power to run, so you really can't determine universally what is good or bad it just depends on the CPU and what you're doing with it.

  • @dchains ohh.. does the motherboard make a difference? like will the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro lower the temps? and it has the tpu switch.. what is that for?

  • @don2xify No motherboards don't lower or raise CPU temps.

  • @dchains which is better as a cooler Asetek 550LC or Corsair H60?

  • @don2xify If you already have an H60 then moving over won't do much of anything.

  • @dchains ohh.. but aetek 550LC is better then?

  • @don2xify No you'd be better off keeping your H60.

  • @dchains what about the h100? i want to get it.. with cougar vortex fans.. and will a pushpull config fit inside a corsair 650d case?

  • @don2xify The H100 is good.

  • @TomoSLB and then go buy more intel chips... its win win! less noobs.. more development money for intel!

  • F2, right, right, down, down, F10, enter.

    sounds like a cheat code

  • 1:11 "your grandmad DID do it" XD

  • what does she said? 3d what?

  • is it really this easy? haha

  • @domeee11 Ya it is, even if you fuck up shit the motherboard will reset itself. You really can't fry your motherboard like back in days. Increase multipliers and increase voltage at a minimal level.

  • @opiumthoughts you know some tutorials said we need to disable this disable that disable this disable that, but here none LOL.. hmm what voltage do you think for a 4.1 ghz overclock?

  • @domeee11 Not sure farthest I've gotten on my dual core was 3.8 and the voltage was 1.35 like I said its best to test incrementally turn it up a few clicks then enter windows to test the stability and keep doing that till you blue-screen or lag, then adjust accordingly.

  • @opiumthoughts so if i use less vcore volt my windows should be lagging or blue screening? then adjust the vcore until it stabilized? hmm the test is called prime95 stress testing right? sorry for many questions, im newb at this haha

  • @domeee11 Right I think the saying goes if you you bluescreen your adding to much voltage and if your lagging in boot your don't have enough. And theirs alot of stress tests or just find a heavy duty cpu running game to benchmark with such as Crysis or Farcry 2 something that has a open ended world.

  • I pressed my buttons in that exact order, only bad things happened...

  • Too bad non-k edition CPUs are almost impossible to overclock now :(

No more buying celerons and doubling clock speeds :(

  • My grandma used liquid nitrogen to overclock my AMD Bulldozer processor to just over 8Ghz. XD

  • Change the multiplier AND ADD negative OFFSET to VCore!!! Otherwise it will ramp up the Vcore to stupid levels.

  • SEMEDAKI STO PC FOREVER RE.

  • lolwut

  • I see fragged people. xD

  • I wish that was my grandma.

  • my grandma made my intel core i7 cpu 5.7ghz 0_0

  • want to see my grandma mistake with voltage settings LOL

  • woot my i7-2600K @ 4.4 GHz ftw

  • @jasonwupilly1997 woot my i5 at 5 ghz

  • my grandma is dead.

  • haha FSB or voltage settings?

  • My grandmother doesn't have a Computer.

And did he died @ 0:34?

  • this video does not show correct overclocking steps. if you overclock you need to increase the voltage.

  • @PCgamingMAN1 If the overclock is not a huge step up in speed u DO not need to increase voltage. In the video if she went from 34x multi to say 38xmulti no voltage would be needed. However you are correct that if your going over 3.8 you will need to manually set the voltage +.0X increments.

  • Doesnt let you overclock pentiums.

  • @BodyBuilder454 That's why they said 'new 2nd Generation Sandy Bridge'. The Pentium doesn't fall into this category.

  • yeah, of course, and voltage / temps don't matter, huh oO

the most fun system to overclock was imho the good old 775,I still got some of these here :)

  • My 6 year old sister did this with her i3 , the lucky buggar cause I have a AMD x4 , she watched this ad , and fryed her computer , now she has a £99 second-hand pile of crap and she can't play her PS2 Emu , what a shame , now I'm building my own three pc's with 3 out of 4 of my favourite processors , with a little thanks to her.

  • @MrAlexjenkinson haha, good thing there is no unlocked i3

  • @SuperMaexle123 I taught her , and she over did it , know I have a I5 2500k system , core2quad system and a X6 1066T system.

  • @MrAlexjenkinson thats nice

  • KILL THAT FUCKING DEATHKNIGHT!

  • WAW, even grandmas are playing wow now!

  • @jlebesis exactly xD

  • Let's see how many noobs do exactly this and fry the CPU lol

  • If you get into the BIOS with just pressing the button one time randomly, I'll pay you a beer :P

  • @penetrationmode you need to chill out bro, you takes this way too seriously. (nerd)

  • 36 grandma can't do it

  • I'm asian that's not my grandma... LOL

  • @Klimessss FAIL!!

  • did anyone notice the warning at the end LOL

  • LOL they didn't say anything about changeing the voltage or buying a aftermarket cooler LOL my grandma would be leik wtf is a multiplier

  • So realistic video editing on the computer. Pro job. That explains why Intel sticks to what they are good at, processors.

  • Why is Intel advertising something that kills the warranty?

  • @strikerk Kill CPU = Buy new one.

  • you dont need to overclock to level your pathetic blood elf death knight, WoW takes 2000mhz to play, what a JOKE

  • congratulations grandma you just forgot to set your voltage core and upgrade your stinky stock heatsink, now your nice $300 gift is a childrens play toy

  • I see FRAGGED PEOPLE .... lol

  • It is even easier than this video suggests! even a 5 years old child can do it! Try a P67 ASUS motherboard with the new UEFI bios, you just have to push the performance button, and your i7-2600K will be running on 4.4 instead of 3.4, without even changing the vcore and on stock cooler, no problem! You can of course change the turbo multiplyer + a little more vcore, and you can easily run it on 5GHz. or more.

  • Why does intel void grandmas warranty because she overclocked?

  • so misleading. LLC, C1E, C-State, Speedstep, Vcore, and tons of other factors say hi.

  • @guitara7x6661 not really most of them things you stated aren't mandatory bar vcore

  • LMFAO, I see fragged people.

  • I like how they cut it before she cut a blue screen since she didn't adjust vcore and many other factors

  • where is the Overclock?

  • @Sinmantul she did it dude!!! in the bios! changed the multiplier savend on f10 and rebooted

  • I think we are looking 40 or 50 years in to the future when all of the gamer girls today will be like this but offcourse who knows what computers will look like

  • stupid americans man....

  • all grandmothers was playing Crysis and crysis 2 on super hard on overclocked Tetris!

  • ohh NOOO!! When i will at work my grandmother will overclocking my CPU and GPU!! with liquid nitrogen!! when we sleep our grandmothers overclocking our PC !! When we in toilet our Grandmothers too overclocking our PC !! When we in bathroom ? you know answer! our Grandmothers super-power cyber overclockers!! i afraid!!

  • you could just increase the multiplier but not by much with out making other changes. So not so easy, but this is hilarious!!!

  • Grandma's gonna cook her computer

  • hi grandma, can you overclock my 2600k

  • How high of an oc can one get?

  • @mugen1237

A 2600K? Oh hell, they've gotten it to 4.5 GHz or higher.

  • @Usul573 How do you oc?

  • @mugen1237

There's entire websites about overclocking out there, but to do it you can just go into the BIOS.

When the system is booting up hold F2, F10, or Ctrl-Enter and then change the settings.

There's more you should know than just that though.

  • @mugen1237 well up to 4.4GHZ just by using ONLY ONLY the multiplyer just like shown in this video but higher than that from 4.5 to 4.8 I belive you need to change the voltage and stuff and anything higher than that more things...

  • @YoungPrinceofMacadon How would I do that? I've heard that too. Maybe I'll just look up on OC.net or something.

  • @mugen1237 There's a video on newegg.com of the guys from ASUS overclocking the i7 2600k to 5.2 Ghz on fan air (aftermarket heatsink and fan obviously). I would expect that to drastically reduce life expectancy of the CPU though. I'll only be OC'ing mine to 4.4-4.6

  • ironically with the new UEFI replacing BIOS on the latest motherboards, it is even easier than what this ad showed...

  • @protox4 you got up to 4 ghz?
