  • Damn wtf happened

  • good job

  • O.K........WOW!

  • GAIN HEIGHT ! stupid guy cant fly, hell he learns 3 years of flying school and he cant fly worth an baby bird out of an egg.

  • idiot!!!

  • it's probably niko bellic piloting

  • FUCK YOU BASTARD

  • tomjon is what we call in america "a piece of work"

  • Woman pilot.

  • Could someone kindly explain to a fixed winger what happened?

    Thank you.

PS: I always stay behind something substantial around helicopters taking off or landing.

  • @robertgift looked like the guy was attempting a max performance takeoff to impress the camera guy. But rather than get off the ground before adding max power, he pulled it in at the same time he applied forward cyclic. Almost chopped the tail boom off too.

  • @robertgift If I remember correctly, in this incident, after landing, the passenger's bag strap got tangled up with the cyclic. The pilot took off again to get the aircraft under control.

  • :O my nan could fly a helicopter better than that!

  • great how the cameraman ducks into the hangar

  • WOW SO LUCKY

  • Just waiting for that mast bump

  • looks like he was trying t land and maybe a gust of wind blew by and he couldnt save it so he took off for another attempt

  • my dear friend. In Hungary, we are not exposed to the risk that the helicopter purchase. yet we could not refuel in a salary to do it. However, if I can not keep helicopters do not sit in it. fact! This pilot is something really fucked up.

  • ANY1 wanna go for a ride.OMG not me lol

  • he and the heli could get fucked up real good

  • kinda funny

  • I suggest to control the Cyclic a little bit more carefully! Too big moves, I think!

  • idiot! why hold the gas?????

  • @otto63363 It`s not that easy mate! This is not a car! Probably if he had just put away gas, then he had a real, real crash! Read something about controling a helicopters Cyclic, and then say idiot again ... but probably to yourself! ;-

  • @thepiarno what the fuck are you talking about put away gas? this was all pilot error with situational awareness. your the idiot! learn how to write a real fuckin sentence so people understand what your saying you might not look like such an IDIOT

  • @tomjon0210 ;D)) I was just guessing my friend! But - I read your words, also your words to other youtube members .. and I am laughing a lot! What happend to you, my poor friend? Was it a bad boyhood with your mama, or are your eggs too small? ;D)))))))))))))

  • When flying with passengers that have NO knowledge of helis........remove their cyclic and pedals.

  • The helicopter landed and parked so the pilot decided that he better pull the handbrake on....

  • @goldchamp71 WHY AM I GOING UP?!?

  • Maybe the pilot should go on a weight loss program.

  • Did he landed safely after that???

  • GET TO DE CHOPPA!

    *CRACK*

    Actually, we're fine....here...

  • "Dropped my coffee..SHIT !!!!"

  • Thats a robinson Heli isn't it? I'm amazed that there was neither a tailboom strike not the rotor hit the ground.

  • Obiously a rookie helicopter pilot

Doesn' know how to fly the damn chopper

  • @TheCcarroll12 Actually no. A passenger was trying to hop out and moved the joystick. Since it is a robinson they have 2 joysticks connected to eachother. Have a look at some photos on google images

  • Another american pilot I see. He'll soon be in the military shooting at British soldiers

  • @furian228493 He's obviously not military, you're obviously not a pilot, and why are you acting like we would be shooting at you anyway? He was a bad pilot or there was some some kind of [assenger interference. Either way, they were extremely lucky not to have a tailboom or ground strike and came SOOO close to rolling over.

  • @furian228493 Excuse me, passenger. Oops.

  • @furian228493 your a fuckin idiot! your just pissed cause america would kick your ass in anything bitch. USA!!! go fuck yourself haters cause obviously every pussy ass country on this planet comes cryin to us when they cant fight for themselves every time they need our help to get a job done. sure we fuck shit up but if it werent for us this world would be to shit!

  • Definetely out of track after this.

  • Fu**ing women...

  • Apparently the passenger's purse strap was wrapped around the collective (as it sat in her lap) and when she pulled on the purse to exit (front door service), she pulled the collective up. A reaction of her's was to grab the cyclic (not to fly the heli, but for something to hold on to) and what you witness then is the pair of them fighting for the cyclic of the helicopter. One a pilot and the other having NO idea what's happening.

I heard this second hand but have no reason not to believe.

  • @texNoz Women: can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em!! Haha! I could see that...

  • wth?

  • what, is he new?

  • HAHAHA you're awesome dude...

  • sorry i cant be just a little teeeny weeeennieee of on my words since everyone takes everything so literal. i meant nudge. HAPPY!?

  • need to read bud. I am agreeing with mhale71

  • i didnt see any fucking crash you faggot

  • according to what i have investigated. the pilot made a statement saying that the passenger kicked the collective forward and the rest was the pilot trying to maintain control

  • @amediastintas thats weird im pretty sure the collective moves up and down and is next to your left ass cheak... unless you have a fucked up leg and a broken collective that moves forward your comment just made you look like such a dickfore! your a dumb ass learn the very basics of a helicopter before you open your mouth it'll save you form looking like a useless shit for brains

  • looks like a skid strike and that is a non rigid main rotor configuration. that tap put one of the blades in an out of balance condition. only way out of that is to increase main rotor RPM's then pitch colective to let enertia bring the blades back in balance.

  • @obamablowsme I'm sorry, I saw this and had to comment. Are you a pilot or do you just read and then misquote wikipedia. Other than the rigid variety there is semi-rigid, and fully articulated. Fully articulated is the only one that has to worry about ground resinance (which is what you are talking about with the blade being out of balance), the robinson has a semi-rigid rotor system.

  • @FJones9508 -ah 99% correct mr. jones-I've encountered it in a 269, (Hughs 300) and , surprise MBB 105-it smoothed out; the 300 wasn't as lucky- we had 2 skids, and a harness buckle left. Note to self-when you watch the A&P mech. boogie-it's a good time to pray. Honestly I've never flown a R22 or 44-my friends love theirs, but they just can't stand up to the abuse as a trainer

  • @fritzmerde The 300 is fully articulated. The BO 105 being rigid relies on blade bending so I suppose there might be a way to get the blades out of phase. Sounds more like a blade grip problem to me though. But I will admit I'm not very familiar with the rigid rotor system. The point remains that this is clearly not ground resinance and if obamablowsme would have read the description they would have seen that. Closest I've been to fully rigid is the soft-in-plane of a 407.

  • @fritzmerde By the way I've seen a 300 that experienced ground resinance with similar results and it was an FAA pilot that did it. You wouldn't happen to work for the Birmingham FSDO? You should read the original post by obamablowsme its humorous to say the least.

  • When the blades are turning, NEVER EVER let go of the cyclic... even for a second. Otherwise, you might star in one of these crazy videos.. =)) This guys is very lucky he didn't chop off his tail boom.

  • OK jesus christ, some people need to read up before making dumbass statements.

On touchdown after a joyflight , a passenger got ready to get out and bumped the cyclic stick foward. Apparently some people dont realise how dangerous helicopters can be. In my opinion hes lucky he didnt boom strike or mast bump. but the helicopter probably still needed some work after this.

  • Now, for my next trick.

  • The heli just kissed the ground shortly before takeoff.

  • it looks like he took his hands off the stick when he touched down... what a noob.

  • CRAZYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

  • DON'T DO DRUGS!!

  • Good thing for that tall mast ay?

    WTF was he thinking?

Looks definitely to be pilot error as the stick is still controlling the heli when it gets off the ground. So the equipment seemed to be ok.

Probably a learning pilot, the mess up, and the instructor took control to lift off averting disaster.

He seemed to be attempting to land, not take off, which was unintentional and an emergency measure.

  • the camera man ducks into the hanger, smart move. What, more head speed?

  • helicopter take off instructions......

    1. add power

    2. pull up on collective and gain about 3-5 feet in height

    3. don't be this guy

  • Hahahahaaa hell yeah first gain altitude and then tilt,so fucking basic

  • @MykillMetal learn that on flight sim?

  • @64wing speaking of which, does anybody remember a game called SimCopter?! lol fuckin awesome

  • Your grandpa flew F-22's? That's what's in service now. Try again.

  • @tandre1 Maybe his grandpa traveled into the future in a time machine! You never know.

  • you obviously ate the lead paint chips as a kid.

#1. The F-22 only recently came into service.

#2 The Navy doesnt even use them yet

    #3 Eat Balls

  • you right for the helies... But hahahahahaha ya grandpa flew F22's thats so funny hahahaha

  • DRUNK HELI...I THINK.

  • yeah...ok. whatever

  • looks like a fake, but its not :]

  • gettin frisky.

  • not really a crash

  • is this islip new york?

  • Thats why the passenger sides controls are removable!!!

Gues he wont leave them in next time.

  • I think i know where that's at

  • If that was me id have crashed

  • There's an NTSB report on this one. The passenger accidently knocked the cyclic stick forward during touchdown. The pilot made an excellent recovery and did the right thing.

  • What's the registration number? You can't see it in the video, and I'd like to read that report.

  • if in doubt, hold on to your altitude, no1 has ever collided with the sky

  • after that first tip i would have shut the damn thing off instead of trying to take off in rocking motion. If he crashed he would have deserved it.

  • at first tip i would have pushed the nose forward and had the satisfaction of watching my passengers faces get shredded by broken rotor blades

  • ^.^

  • LOL phew luky him. musta been fing scary tho!

  • It looked like maybe he was taking off with a tail wind instead of into the wind.

So much for that translational lift.

  • thats what you get for flying an over sized rubber band helicopter...also knows as a Robinson, Maybe A R22 don't know exactly

  • Goes to show how ignorant people are blaming the helicopter for crashing. HelloooOO theirs a man flying it.. The same people would put blame on a car crashing and not the driver. Clueless ignorant fools.

  • He pushed the cyclic too far forward

  • that dude needs lessons or something. your not supposed to endo a chopper only sportbikes

  • He should have listened to his mom!

  • looks like the pilot was getting a blowjob

  • lucky bastard either way !

  • hahahaha

  • what a stupid looking chopper

  • All Robinsons look like a bit retarded.

  • Well, he did a lot better than Charlie did.

  • now that's funny. get away from that thing charlie...

  • ouuu is a windy??

  • that also looks like Leeds Bradford airport... been tehre many tiomes and it can be a bit drafty there :P

  • Looks to me like a passenger bumped the cyclic (can easily happen in robbies). The pilot did a good job though, could have been alot worse.

  • wind , look at the rotors when the robinson pitches foward , the rear rotors flex up , the front dosnt.

  • Yeh I agree that looks like a cyclic bump, I would think if winds were gusting from behind he would not be landing in that direction and the aircraft might have yawed to the right also due to VRS (weathercocking). It looks like calm wind conditions by the amount of control before set down that he had I don't think this was wind just a passenger bumping the cyclic and I've seen it happen even in other helicopters. Good save and very lucky.

  • nice flying i'v been told the hardest part about flying is in the taking off an sometimes the cusion of air doesn'n allways work to well

  • very commen in take offs

  • not like that i'ts not... and i've been in many R44's both ravens and raven 2's

my real dad and step dad both used to fly them...

he is a good pilot to save a robbie from that they require very quick rhinking and even faster reactiosn when summat like that happens

Good job. hats off to ya pilot

  • Yes a real quick reaction time there to save the whole thing from diaster. Almost got a boom strike at one point if you watch closely.

  • Ground effect.

  • its not a crash kid, please dont post bullshit.. its called a take-off

  • you are right it's like kind of an alarm start....but he was lucky not to burst the rotor blades

  • dude its super simple.....he was pushin the stick forward and wasnt realizing it.....

  • I looks like he had his rotor loaded in a cyclic fwd position, (due to wind gust?) and he did the right thing, if you pull opposite the rotor load, you risk snapping the blades or even possibly a dynamic rollover. he dropped the collective probably, and the rotor was still loaded fwd, then pulled collective; which brought the craft clear of the ground, and allowed the load to ease; nice flying!!

  • I think it was a gust of wind while light on the skids. This is why you either take off or drop the collective all the way and tighten the grip. It's like sh*t or get off the pot.

  • well saved!!!

  • crap video and stop arguing you babies

  • even in a simulation i have trouble with a chopper in perfect weather.

  • you guys are something else! no profesional / comercial helicopter pilots would be stupid enough to write a comment about those videos ! I bet they are having more fun laughing at you wantabepilots or private pilots (samething) or even you wish u could be helicopter pilots ( thats the fix wing pilots )then at the videos themself. What a world !

  • if your military then be carefull you guys have wrecked more crafts than anyone and oh ya who pays for that ya the poor private pilot. military pilots suck my brothers is 101 ap. pilot and i still can smoke him on our small runway in our 172rg but he is not a dumb ass like you he has respect for all pilots unlike you and that is why i respect him and not you

  • No mate I am not a military pilot and wouldn't let one work for me either. I am just a normal guy with 20 000 + hours on helicopter which about half of them hours are with a 250' long line on the belay. Flown everywhere in the world, in almost any weather and yes I did it all. I also don't like you or the "know it alls" weekend flyers that are analyzing everything on this website. Go back to your 172 Captain wantabe

  • Oh ya your one of those power line wreckers?

  • Yeah? Well, my daddy can kick your daddy's ass!!!

  • lol. thumbs up!

  • This stupid motherfucker obviously doesn't fly anymore. He must be a stif

  • that was relly funny! HA HA HA H

  • I think pilot wanted to sqoot it up a bit, when the skids got caught by the concerete, dumb move must be a rooky pilot. Happens to me all the time in flight simulator.

  • It's halarious how everyone thinks heli's are so easy and predictable to fly... you watch one guy screw up on youtube, and suddenly everyone is an expert.

  • I am a pilot really!

  • pilot here....read the ntsb reports once and a while. expert.

  • Go play with your cars, ya cunt. Winds blow between hangars, and that complicated the matter worse.

  • you can see the rotor plane move violently for & aft. yeah, everyone on board is lucky.

  • no, passenger pushes dual controls accidentally, pilot over compensates twice. tail boom spare from being sliced in half by inches.

  • More like striking the ground, not the boom.
