@ShinigamiRo1 Coven are not Wiccans or psychedelic rock..Pagan however,yes..They are LHP Magick in philosophy and prefer to be referred to as heavy underground musick..or Occult rock..Whatever you classify them as(the most fitting is just Coven musick, for they sound like no one else!),they are my favorite band ever and they were one of the primary main influences for the early metal movement..where Black Sabbath got their ideas..\m/
im not sure this is tommy bolin on this track.i can find nothing on his disography referencing him playing ever with coven or jinx dawson anywhere.cool tune though.
@jelisa46 Tommy's Official site that is run by his brother confirms this. You can also check out the Tommy Bolin myspace page and buy the track from there. Tommy recorded several tracks with Coven before his death.
Quote from Tommy Bolin's official site " Tommy had just started working with Jinx Dawson and Coven, recording several tracks before his death. This being his very last recording. And the tracks are now on cd for the first time."
@Pestigor Jinx is alive and well, you can find her on Facebook by looking at the profile here on Youtube.
Jinx is planning a sinister comeback with all original members of Coven. * devilish Grin * She has been silent behind the scenes for quite some time...but the re-emergence of Coven tunes on such shows as The Simpsons and Men of A Certian Age...she will be silent no more!
One of the most killer heavy songs Coven ever did!!I love the vocals so much!!!Jinx flexes her amazing vocal range on this one!!That riff has such a wicked doomy feel to it!!I love Coven more than any other band and always will!!!
@eibon81 Who the fuck asked you what you are? Why do you people always think you're so fckng special- always wanting to draw attention & how you should have special rights, stfu
@ilovety65 Well the only hater I can see is you. Tommy, Jinx and Steve from Coven were very good friends. So much of a fan of Tommy eh? So much you don't know about Coven, and Tommy Bolin. Whixh is why I am not surprised.
I love Jinx Dawson and Coven...what more need I say...I'm lost without a trace in love with her and her awesome music....I'm hopelessly gone into you...
OK: I'm in touch with Linda Nardini who was in The Equalizers...What a tremendous person and piano player...Interesting story about Black Swan...I know that Jinx was hooked up with Jon Lord during the mid 70's...
Not to be a doubting Thomas, but I'm not convinced that this is Tommy on guitar..If anyone can get independent corroboration, I'd appreciate it..It's a cool song though....Not sure I'd want to embrace the spirit with which it was made...
It is Tommy on Guitar, He was very good friends with Coven. From official Tommy Bolin page, Also said song in question can be purchased via Tommy Bolin's official myspace page. Quote from Tommy Bolin's official site " Tommy had just started working with Jinx Dawson and Coven, recording several tracks before his death. This being his very last recording. And the tracks are now on cd for the first time."
The album also included, Glenn Cornick of Jethro Tull on Bass.. Michael Monarch of Steppenwolf ..
I need to get from the Official Tommy Bolin site and put the information on this video that confirms that he did work with Coven on that album, recorded shortly before his death.

@JulinaAbecilla Tommy was a very close friend to and of Coven. He died of a drug overdose. Jinx and Steve still regret to this day that Tommy left for tour....
I went to Tommy Bolin's grave two months ago. I wanted to take a momento home with me. I saw guitar picks down the vaseholder of his headstone from many a devoted fan that had come before me but couldn't take those as they were sacred. Instead I looked over to the right of his headstone and saw a thin cigar like the ones he used to smoke and took it back as my momento.

This is pure psychedelic rock. It's not even doom rock.
Try Jex Thoth -retro 70's doom rock band.

No guitar solo? WTF? I mean, if this is Tommy Bolin, then why..it would have improved the song by a lot. Or maybe Tommy was too stoned.

This is NOT a Gothic metal band. It's Psychedelic Rock and they're a Pagan/Wiccan band. Please, do your freaking research!!
