  • i love that martin sound

  • @KylePlaysHisGuitar it's a collings guitar but thank you!

  • @ScottTsai oh my bad :p, sounds great though man!

  • Great stuff. I've been working on Angelina for over a year, on and off. I've got the intro and the part after that. From there, I don't seem to get very far and wind up giving up. I've also tried his Windy and Warm. Same thing, got the first part, not the rest (can't find the right tab). Of all the TE songs, which would you say would be a good one to start off with. kg

  • @kgast0303 I would say "stay close to me" is probably the easiest TE song. But angelina is also a good song to start with, it was my first TE as well.

  • Scott, thank you for the free lesson, and if you can help me with "locomotivation" Tommy Emmanuel it will be very appreciate. ;)

  • Scott, you are the best!!!!!

  • Think you are great, and I was wondering if you have made a Lesson for Homage To Life? I can't seem to find anyone who has made it. Do you know it? It's Kaare Norge

    Hope you can help me

    Lillian (Denmark ) :)

  • dude!! show how you play the beginning!!! pretty pleeze?

  • wha?? I can't figure out the intro harmonics....and I'm ok at figuring stuff out..but I guess the chorus IS the hard part...

  • Hey man, I have an issue. I can't "bar" with my finger because I'm fat and my fat finger just doesn't bar the whole strings, the noise doesn't get through. Any advice on that? (besides losing weight)

  • @hulksjedi try having your index finger stick out over the fingerboard so that the middle joint is over the D and G strings. hope it helps

  • @hulksjedi if you have fat fingers your are supposed to bar more easy

  • It seems a Marin guitar? What is model? I've heard that many euro, american brands guitar are hard to hold with a fat neck, not very suitable for small hands of east people, is it ? thank you

  • @GuoShushan it is a collings om2h. the next is not especially thick and its very comfortable for me.

  • I wonder what those material and level of this guitar, casuse pretty great sound! 3A or 4A of top and back ? thank you~ 相当通透甜美的声音!

  • Scott thank you. You have really helped me with this song. The only part I don't get is the harmonics involved in the song. Do you think you could make a tutorial showing how to do them. Thanks again.

  • Hey thanks alot, this vid was very helpful. Do you mind doing a tutorial for the beggining part of the song as well?

  • Thanks for spending the time w this.

Timing's great as I just got Mombasa down.

BTW ... Picked up a Taylor 414ce because I liked the tone so-o much ... That Collings sounds a little tight (new) and not as colorful as your Taylor ... looks comfortable as hell... new and different body type I suppose

    Thanks again my friend
