I hear Messaien and I think of his deep religious mysticism and I think of a huge fluorescent Jesus on a neon cross and there's a laser lightshow and daglo paintballs and poor Jesus He"s being divebombed by flamingoes and peacocks and He's in such agony that He's doing a frantic boogaloo but He's nailed up and can't get loose and He's praying "Father, God in Heaven, please make that music stop...."
