  • Thank you for sharing that. That's an important document of skate history showing other regions where skating evolved and flourished. Walnut shells and paper I believe were the key ingredients in composite wheels. Amazing technology at the time that was much better than steel wheels. Then came urethane wheels, and so much more.

  • Really nice hearing from you. It was me that filmed the movie along with all you great skaters. I only wish I had spent some time getting to know all of you and gotten your names. I think the only time I did skate was in the scene with the champaign glass in hand. Now that I have some of your names I will try and post them on the film leader credits when I can find the time and figure out how to get it done. Interesting that the movie has created so much interest. Maybe we should do another.
