you can use candle wax for cleaning the board but I wouldnt recomend it and white spirit is almost the same as a base clearner but it's stronger, so don't use it to often
cristi2626: obviousley you have never waxed a snowboard because you are supposed to get all the wax off the more wax on the top the slower you go the only wax that stays is the wax that is in the pores of your board, so just so you know

Yes there is. The board isn't smooth, and the wax sinks into the tiny tiny holes.
