@jaxmasca there all mazda engines. klde 01, klde 03, klze all mazda. klze is supposed to be the best. i dont see why. have colt cams regrind you cams. then put the intake plenum off the klze on a de and you have pretty good power engine
its just like any other car in its price range, every car does the same ol' shiyt and each car has its pros and cons. you can build and or boost a car, go faster and still handle well with good tuning. forget about its "looks" and the name of the car everyone doesnt have the same taste in cars or the $ for the "best" ride. at the end of day, at night, from a distance, all vehicles look the same. some are slow some are fast...
It was stock. 25+ psi on a complete stock kl. He was working on doinag big build and in teh meantime he just threw boost toa stock motor. it did like 50passes on the quarter before it blew.
