The Comedian understood really more then others, even more then Ozzy - the smartest man. He saw some things which others were afraid to see. So, he is a great hero.

Yes, and he watched over her from time to time. As harsh as it may sound, the fact of the matter is that he was a horrible individual. I think the highlight of his life and his coming to understanding happened right before he was murdered. He did good things, but he did more bad things.

peacelove16 when they release clips, they don't give out the entire scene, they have to cut it down. So although you notice poor editing ehre, when you finally watch the movie, it will be the full scene and the editing will be fine

1.) Theatrical cut.

2.) Directors' Cut.

3.) Ultimate Cut- This one will feature the directors' cut plus it will have the Black Freighter story cut in as well.

Yeah, this isn't the final version of the scene. It was censored a bit, and cut down for promotional use. At some point during this scene Rorschach interjects the Comedian's cynical argument with "justice matters", to which Comedian casually replies "Justice is comin' to all of us, no matter what the fuck we do".

Then he goes into his speech about how we'll all be dust.

Don't believe me? Look at the comedian's official facebook page. They have extended sound clips from this scene.

Unfortunately, I think they had to cut quite a lot from the theatrical version. Supposedly the extended version will be 3 and a half hours long. That will probably be the true version to watch.
