I think Johnny would make a great manager like Sparky. They both have the attitude, the drive, positive power and the love for the game !!!! Sparky you remeind me of the good "ol days, when baseball was baseball .... not part of Corporate America.
i am a huge redsox fan and would have loved to have this guy back. Tiger fans you should really enjoy watching him play. I am just glad he is no longer a yankee

@newyork3117 he has actually repeatedly said he loves it in detroit and he has no regrets going there. He is very happy. Especially with the way the fans treat him.
@newyork3117 Well of course you are doing fine without him. You are hte Yankees. Dont get mad, but the MLB really needs to put a salary cap in. I don't think that it is a coincidence that the only sport NY is good at is the sport without a salary cap. Yanks buy titles because of their great economy. The MLB really needs to equal out the playing field. the Red Wings did the same thing before the NHL got their salary cap and i am perfectly fine with admitting that.
