ok really, guys recon is available to all players, i have it. All you have to do is unlock all halo3 achievment as well as finding all skulls in the halo3 game, yes this includes the gold skulls and skulls found in the maps from the mythic map pack. If you want proof go into matchmaking while logged onto xbox live and look at the advertisements at the bottom.
