Prime example, Nintendo Entertainment System (orig NES). Some of the games' graphics were so gawd awful that you almost couldn't see what was going on... but the gameplay was still, to this day, the best.

But, if you've ever played a game, then seen a video of that game, it never looks as good. Plus, recording anything (audio or video) causes a hit on frames.

I think the medieval fantasy/fairytale genre is way too old. A new fantasy game needs to come out, but little of the original fairytale stuff like dragons, European style castles, globlins/orcs, etc. Same goes for the anime style, which is a style I hate.

Oh yeah, it has to be original in gameplay as well. I myself can come up with a lot ideas that fit this, I'm sure some game developers could.

I don't know why more people don't play this game. If you're into stuff like this, I think you will find this game enjoyable. Now is the time to get involved while there are still more and more new people signing up. Of course, there are some things that could be improved (melee combat animations, etc.) but all in all, it's a real deep game in many aspects.

You need a top of the line 4GB, quad core, 2 Gforce video cards with a physics processor to play this game.

OK maybe you don't need that much. I can actually play this on my 6 year old laptop (1gb with shared onboard video card) if I turn off trees and grass.

It certainly looks nicer on my gaming desktop but that doesn't stop me from kicking some ass in pvp when I am on the road.
