  • the song? NIN?

  • Good build.

  • @visceralguy thanks, I have improved a lot since this video, just saving up for a new camera to post an update, lats are wider, shoulders are bigger, legs and calves have grown:) I am 215lbs now so about 25lbs heavier than this video, abs are there and so are obliques(just)

  • @rainingblood6969rain Impressive. Looking forward to the next vid. :>)

  • Cannot wait for next update.

  • Great arms.. your biceps are excellent!

  • you should def get a posing coach. Starting with your lat spread you want it to look deliberate. You won't gain any extra width by overexerting and sticking your chest so high your neck goes away.

Also on double biceps front and back always put your thumbs inside of your fists and hold arms even. This makes it look like your fists are less tight (more deliberate) and you won't look like an angry cartoon child (as I was described by my posing instructor once lol)

    Good physique! don't waste it!

  • @2TheGuy2

Thanks for your advice, duly noted. There are a couple of competeing bodybuilders at my gym that I could ask, and if they cant help ill look up a posing coach.

  • What are you benching for 1 rep max?

  • @ryansawinner

1rep max is only 110kg(242lbs) on bench press although it is 264 on a high incline! I make no excuses for my weak flat bench and will be working hard on increasing it to 300lb in the offseason.

Shorter more stocky guys are often stronger on the bench press as there upperbodies are more suited to pressing power. I am 6" and have quite long arms and legs which is why I am good at deadlifting:) (485lbs)

  • @rainingblood6969rain Well look in very impressive condition. How long until you compete?

  • @ryansawinner

just 6 weeks:) got a LOT of work to do until then with cardio, posing and working on my Lats

  • @rainingblood6969rain Best of luck John.

  • Loved the pose at 1.01. What huge traps.

  • @elliecrosse especially for you ellie!

  • @rainingblood6969rain Thank you!

  • What are you deadlifting?

  • @smashthelot deadlifting 220kg which is 485lbs

  • @rainingblood6969rain No wonder those traps are so big and your back so wide.

  • Traps look particularly impressive.

  • @Mrkarl4211
