  • Hi Thank you for nice video , I have a question if this media player can read subtitles ? and can I use non iomega wifi adapter to connect to network ?

  • will it read subtitle files ? thanks

  • can i use a non-iomega wifi dongle on this?

  • Ive just hooked mine up and then watched your video. Only thing I dont like is they dont build wifi into it. Great quality video. you have to press the TV SYS button on the remote until the Iomega writing isnt edgy. Full HD. Just need to try the wifi now. Good video mate. saves me having to make one. 5*'s

  • this is not a review... it is product description... can someone post a review please

  • i do not think this is a "review" at all. Its just an unboxing and reading the spec sheet out loud!

Can you demo the product on a TV, check the file format it can actually play, resolution, lag speed of the files, remote ease etc....

  • Hi bought one over Xmas 2010. I have a problem with some MKV files. Picture quality is great, but I do not have any sound. Any ideas? Are there some system updates? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks

  • @bvadams1 you need to convert the audio codec of the mkv file to AC3. you can use avidemux

  • Thanks man, I am going to buy it now, good explanation :)

  • @photographerPd Thanks for watching.

  • nice job dude

  • @davidepinoli Thanks.

  • keep up the good videos dave! You gonna be big on youtube i can tell.

  • @itsmemaverickblue Cheers.

  • Yo Dave,

the only part i missed in the review is the formats this little device supports, i currently own a other simular kind of device but i did not support all the video formats i wanted. an example is the h264 format wich a lot of my hd series are currently in. furthermore i think it is brilliant they put dolby surround in the device it gives it the extra push to buy this, it looks solid and i think it is a good media player for day to day use (say video on demand)

    Regards,

    Pim

  • @QuizProduction Yes, I think so, especially if they open it up to user content.

  • @sky2jian wow that's sure to get you a job

  • I saw one of these media players on amazon for only £20

  • Nice review Dave :-). Any chance of you connecting it all up and filming a demo for us to see how it is to use?

  • @GMACF1 No time on this one, sorry, it was a quick test and report on how it performed.

  • i bet the apple tv will be better

  • @5mistry with no 1080p/i and with itunes only network sharing?

I like to watch my videos at full resolution and original format (mkv, m2ts) without converting ecc.

  • FIRST!!!!!!

  • @sky2jian Shut Up
