i had anorexia and am still in recovery. it may appear glamourous, yet in reality, it carries the highest morality rate of all psychological disorders. there's nothing fun about it and it shouldn't be confused for a 'wild diet gone out of control'. im glad videos like this increase awareness of the disease. it's a good step forward :)

Aww what a sweetheart, This might sound strange but I used to plan weekly fantasy meals aswell. When I went to the clinic they said if I didnt get help straight away my heart could stop immediately. Goodluck on recovery :)
It is great to see him having pulled through. (Well done George!). Also, he speaks so eloquently about his illness. It's always easy to describe the symptoms of anorexia nervosa (the 'voice', the rituals, the fears..), but it would have been interesting to learn more about the 'real' fears that drove him into anorexia initially, which were probably a lot more than a desire to do well in rugby, or disturbances of 'body image'. The real problem is usually much deeper and more subconscious.
