I just got the sharp shooter and tried it with Resistance 3. The calibration kept getting messed up after a few minutes of gameplay. I had to re-calibrate several times. I found myself aiming completely in the wrong place to hit the target I wanted. Has anyone else had that experience? I'm wondering if I got a bad camera.
ti bad you they didnt put it for black ops :( i love cod on wii i can play it way longer then consoles if they had it on sharp shooter available for black ops that would make me sell my wii and save up for a ps3 :D
The PS Move is great for FPS being able to quickly aim but Its so much better playing a game without the sharpshooter. My arms got tired within 5 minutes of playing with the sharpshooter attached when I played Killzone 3. NOT Comfortable AT ALL!!!
1) it should use 2 thumbsticks. Having to turn the screen and aim is annoying at times. If you had 2 thumbsticks, for moving and turning the screen, and then you aimed with the gun, that would be awesome and better than a controller.
2) The wii style pointer. When you aim the gun, you are simply moving the pointer around the screen. If you played 'tumble', you can see that the you could actually manipulate the gun in real time.
@chaseyqurt It does give a little resistance, nothing like you would expect from a real gun. But works good for gaming, doesn't make your trigger finger get sore. But it all comes down to personal preference in the end.
They should make Mw3 compatible with the Playstation move! For the people that liked playing CoD on the Wii, Now they can play it on the Ps3 using playstation move.The graphics would be way better N it would feel realistic..especially with the new Gun attachment ps3 came out with, the "Sharpshooter"... But all this would be optional..only a few games use move like Killzone 3,Mag, N socom...so CoD would be a great Idea! thumbs up if you agree

I'm quite disappointed by the fact that sony claimed that the move would be an option in many AAA- games, and actually had an awesome launch lineup with SOCOM and KlLLZONE, and then just completely abandoned the move and the sharpshooter peripheral. I liked how it felt, and even though it was inferior to the standard controller, I found it to be quite immersive during the Killzone campaign, especially on my friend's 3d tv.

old 90's arcades that used this kinda controls didnt have this huge latency....technology is so far ahead but we are going backwards in game controls as it seems. crosshars that are moved with a gun-like device have been around for lots of years but with no LAG. whoever buys this and hopes for good results will cry rivers. unless he/she is swimming in money.....

@002gameREVO For the most part the Sharpshooter is designed to be identical on either side for left or right handed people. The only buttons that are not identical on either side are the X and O buttons on the Nav controller. But this shouldn't change much as both buttons are pressed by the same thumb.
@add5205 No it doesn't but there is a socom 4 package that comes with a copy of Socom 4, the Move controller, Nav controller and playstation Eye Camera. Looks like a pretty good deal considering the Socom 4 beta is pretty awesome.

@HipHopPianist If people are experiencing poor response times with their Move device. I recommend checking their TV for a setting called game mode in the picture settings. (note not all TVs will have this). Turning this on can improve the response time of your TV and reduce delay with the Move controller.

@miztahrico Do you mean how did I attach the red dot? my red scope has an adjustable bottom mount,that can either be 5/3" or 3/8" I use the 3/8" side.The sharpshooter's rail is 3/6'" so when I put on the scope it was wiggley,so I put a thin piece of rubber on both sides of the sharpshooters rail,which made the rail to 3/8" .attached the scope and perfect,no wiggle nice and firm.

@vexedrex555 It should work, the key is to being able to center your camera below the screen. So as long as you can do that and the cameras view in unobstructed you should have no problems.
@JO3YWR3N No it's really not that big a deal. Though it does have a lot of potential for cool modding if your creative enough. People mod gamepads and consoles for fun all the time and that would be the line of inspiration. I would do it out of boredom more than just being super anal about the color. Lol

@Beastsoldia I'm a big fan of the sharpshooter, I do recommend it. Though 180$ is a lot of cash if you are to go out and buy everything at once just for the sharpshooter. It's always best to find somewhere to try it before you buy it (on a gamestore display). Or at least buy from a place that has a return policy. I like it, but that doesn't mean everyone will.
Also the move controller is usefull for many other games and the camera is great for video chat.
@F1shard I am about to pre-order sharshooter and buy navigation controller with it, here in finland sharpshooter will be released 1.4.11 and it will cost 49,95€
@Beastsoldia I would recommend you wait for the socom 4 bundle to come out. It comes with everything, move, nunchuck, camera, and sharphooter plus socom 4 all for $150.

at first it was really bad. but after using some online custom settings, this is an excellent accessory and a must to get the most out of single player fps. this is the only way i play killzone single player. for multiplayer best to use the normal pad.

@LMAOxStallz I am using a 32" TV in the video. Works great, though I would recommend moving about a foot farther back than I am in the video from the TV. I also have a 50" that I play on and it's works great too.

@miztahrico Do you mean how did I attach the red dot? my red scope has an adjustable bottom mount,that can either be 5/3" or 3/8" I use the 3/8" side.The sharpshooter's rail is 3/6'" so when I put on the scope it was wiggley,so I put a thin piece of rubber on both sides of the sharpshooters rail,which made the rail to 3/8" .attached the scope and perfect,no wiggle nice and firm.

@vexedrex555 It should work, the key is to being able to center your camera below the screen. So as long as you can do that and the cameras view in unobstructed you should have no problems.

@JO3YWR3N No it's really not that big a deal. Though it does have a lot of potential for cool modding if your creative enough. People mod gamepads and consoles for fun all the time and that would be the line of inspiration. I would do it out of boredom more than just being super anal about the color. Lol

@mixindave1 Yup that's true, but in the end it just insults our intelligence to decide what is real or not... What do you do if some crazed person now starts walking the street with a REAL gun that he paints to look like a child's toy. We have made everyone expect the orange and flashy colored guns to be fakes and the masses will just let this person wander around with it assuming it's a toy. Changing the color does not help, It's just political correctness going overboard.

@Beastsoldia I'm a big fan of the sharpshooter, I do recommend it. Though 180$ is a lot of cash if you are to go out and buy everything at once just for the sharpshooter. It's always best to find somewhere to try it before you buy it (on a gamestore display). Or at least buy from a place that has a return policy. I like it, but that doesn't mean everyone will.
Also the move controller is usefull for many other games and the camera is great for video chat.

at first it was really bad. but after using some online custom settings, this is an excellent accessory and a must to get the most out of single player fps. this is the only way i play killzone single player. for multiplayer best to use the normal pad.

@LMAOxStallz I am using a 32" TV in the video. Works great, though I would recommend moving about a foot farther back than I am in the video from the TV. I also have a 50" that I play on and it's works great too.
