i bet its lower than 300 rwhp sohc are second rate, the increase in cubic inches arent living up to their potential due to the ristriction in flow of the sohc heads. now due a dohc heads swap and ill believe 300+rwhp. your on on your way about $2000 should due it
i got an 01 cobra. now i have in mind to stroke a teksid block and throw the stock heads after a porting job with some xtreme energy cams back on. or would it be better to get the 5.4 and can the top end of an 01 cobra bolt up on a 5.4 short block?

it worked good with my set up manly so i could port match it to the ported heads and spacers. a bullit intake maybe better but the tyhoon did the job cheaper.
it put 330/356 to the wheels n/a. on nitrous it put 418/481 on a 100 shot and on a 150 shot out 453/540 to the wheels. remeber it built for a future prochargers. so thats why the n/a numbers are down.

yes 4.6 and 5.4 heads are the same the bottom end is the only difference

it has patriot stage 3 heads, comp cam stage 2 cams 228/232 .550 lift, and a tyfhoon intake ported to match the heads
