  • just watch monty python

  • monty python can tell you the meaning of life LOL:)

  • I think Nietzsche had some interesting ideas on the meaning of life, and morality. Of course he was a bit insane, and some of his writings can be considered to be wild speculation, but he is worth considering for those interested in philosophy and morality. I like the idea of overcoming yourself, and that morality is "for the masses"(I think he was talking about religion though. Still new to his books).

  • @VanessaTexasGal clearly are new if you think he was insane, highest genius ever

  • @Kep0v Yeah, but not towards the end of his career

  • @VanessaTexasGal nice try but no he wasn't insane even then, he was SICK physically but not mentally insane actually the opposite he was on a whole other level, probably the greatest misconception ever in history

  • @Kep0v I looked it up, and it seems like you're correct. I couldn't find any credible sources stating that he was actually insane. I think I may have confused the state he got into after his stroke with insanity when it was really just paresis.

  • @VanessaTexasGal yep, sad that some ppl think he was insane just because their intellect can't grasp him.

  • my mom is 60. i can't stop thinking about how she is going to die someday,so will i. i never thought about mom dying. people say enjoy life while you can,but how. its not like we have millions of dollars and my parents can do anything, just go to work, come home, watch tv and do all that until you die. i wish i had lots of money so i could let mom do things before she dies. my mom wants to travel and see the world, but dad can't stand big cities,so mom suffers because dad refusses to leave home.

  • "Death does not concern us, because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist." -Epicurus

  • The car examplean actually show that there is life after death. Pause after the car has become parts of its elements. After being its elements it can then be reconstructed (something called recycling). Hence that analogy can be used to show life after death

  • If a Catholic says "if Im wrong about god then im in the same place you are, dead in ground, so wouldn't you want to believe in something in case?" what would an atheist say back

  • @Reaume09 Just say to them, "No, because I'd rather cash in on the one life I'm guaranteed of." That Catholic is using Pascal's Wager, which is a faulty thing to use. Besides other questions this Wager raises, how does the Catholic know that God, if he/she/it exists, isn't an asshole god, and only allows skeptics and doubters into heaven, and sends believers to hell? When the Catholic says "God wouldn't do that," ask them how they know for sure. Usually this warrants responses such as....

  • @Reaume09 ..."I have faith," "I just know," or they'll refer to a Bible verse. Having faith in something doesn't make it true, and "I just know" implies having access to special knowledge of Christianity that you don't, which probably isn't true. As for quoting a Bible verse, ask the Catholic why they believe the Bible. This will likely result in circular reasoning. Good luck in your debates. I used to be a Catholic, so if you have any questions, I can help if you want.

  • Great quote from Mark twain, awesome one below as well lol.

  • What kind of brainwashes wack-o dislikes a video with a message like this? You're lucky you won't be conscious during death, or you'd be pretty fucking embarassed forever.

  • @BlckSbthMan death's a dream, just like life's but a dream. if it's as you say in your comment, there'd be no LIfE or DIE in the first place, just an empty unaware void of silence forever where no one would've ever known the difference

  • @JNdigital Life and death are dreams? How can you dream without being alive?

  • Comment removed

  • @BlckSbthMan LIfE is a lie and the word LIE is hidden in the word DIE. commonly, dreamers beLIEve [dissimilar than be live] the dreams real and's surprised to wake up

  • @JNdigital Pseudo-intellectual nonsense? No thanks. You're beEingG sILlY.

  • @BlckSbthMan whatever. go ozzy which means the sun

  • @JNdigital which feels like my SOuL shine

  • @BlckSbthMan it's all nonsense, if u get ur wish this will all end one day and the hell of love will be over and I can disappear forever and bring all u mother fuckers with me

  • Thank you gentlemen for this show. You gave me some peace of mind.

Quite certainly I'll die in 2 days, and this frightens me. The fact that I am so frightened about that, in turn, pisses me of - I thought I had it under control, carefully thought over and over. But no, this primitive, irrational fear of death (dying?) must have showed up to spoil my sleep these few last nights I have left. A panic fear, quite disturbing, that you two AND Mark Twain's quote helped to cope with.

    Appreciated

  • @AbdulMumit matt prefers eternal death of non-existence, majority

religious prefer some other realm of existence

  • Now I'm over 50 I've started thinking about dying more. I wish there were a government facility I could go to when the time comes (if there's time) so I could check out comfortably (give me the drugs!). A financial person to close down my affairs; a social worker to organise the funeral and help sign off from relationships; trained medical staff to be ready for my organ donations; and a govt. representative to exit me from the voting register and other federal and state entanglements.

  • You mean living for the moment? So evident in society. Praise Jesus

  • @jordan7787 the only moment there will ever be is here and now, even when u arrive "there or then" by when u get there/ arrive it will still be here and now [nowhere]

  • sure theres a meaning to life.. Its ultimately subjective (watch?v=mXjyThnpHLE) differs from person to person.

  • Comment removed

  • The true danger of religion and the belief in life after life, is that it devalues life. People put no value on life itself and thus take and give life with such little regard for the gift of life. THIS IS NOT A REHEARSAL ! You have only one life. Cherish it, enjoy it and allow others to as well. I know death is scary, but do we need to make up silly superstitions and lies to make it more bearable.

  • If the meaning of life is so important, why is it that Theists have no concern about the meaning of Eternal LIfe?

To them the purpose of this life is to get into the next life but they have no idea what the meaning of the next life is?

Typical of believers they never ask the next obvious question?

How is striving for a meaningless afterlife meaningful?

  • Why are the majority of atheists white people no offence just wondering.

  • @rotena25 thats not true, im black and i don believe in god.

  • @siyjef he spoke about a majority of atheist, he didn't say all of them... So, yes, it's true. You are part of a minority in a minority...

  • @rotena25 There's a video about that around here somewhere. They talk about how a lot of it has to do with black slaves being forced to accept the religion of the people who enslaved them (in this case christianity), and just kind of having it persist through the generations.

  • These guys seem alot more genuine and sincere than all the religious people I've known.

  • I heard Dawkins use the metaphor 'climbing mount improbable' to describe that given enough time the improbable becomes probable.

If this is true, then is it probable that there may be some form of afterlife? We have all been born at least once, so after death (given enough time, perhaps a cosmic timescale) is it quite probable that we may be reborn and experience consciousness again?

  • @JohnnyAlpha1000

You would have to quantify that consciousness into something preservable. There is no such thing as soul, or life-force, so that's out. In the time you propose, yes, your atoms will break down and go on to become other things; we will all be regenerated....some as rocks, some as rivers(for a few hours anyway)

It's gona happen so we all gotta come to grips with it...make this life mean something, cuz it's all we have

  • @barebowarchery How can he be certain that there is no afterlife? Nietzsche addressed the idea that if you shuffle a string of numbers long enough, they sooner or later will be in the same order as in the first place. If we assume that consciousness is information, coded as a highly organised pattern of molecules, then according to Nieztche, it is only a matter of time before the pattern is regenerated.

  • Odin will beat your god up in a heartbeat though, and Thor's hammer will resound in your ears for a thousand years as the crows pick at your guts :)

  • Bwahahahahahahahhahahahaha!!!!

  • For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

  • i wish the caller had subtitles could not understand irsh guy great show

  • @skilla23

I find it somewhat ironic that you state "People watch History Channel and are indoctrinated by fallacies" and then continue later with "I take the Bible as Truth".

Both Bibles have been revised numerous times. How can a pure and uncorrupted book have revisions? Last I heard, no god or gods have appeared since your Jesus supposedly appeared. how can it be "perfect no lies." ?

"Christianity is not a religion" Yes it is.

"it stands apart" in your region sure. How about in Kandahar?

  • You think salvation comes from yourself that =PRIDE but you will be humbled we all will Jesus is the only way read the bible get a study guide so you can understand who God is and why you exsist.

  • @skilla23....

"You think salvation comes from yourself" -salvation from what? Atheists know there is nothing to be saved from.

"that =PRIDE" -only religion would seek to suppress human emotions. Should a mother not be proud of her hard-cooked meal? Do you take no pride in your work? (assuming you have a job).

"read the bible" NEWSFLASH! Most Atheists belonged to a religion at some point. I've been baptized, & completed catechism. Atheists also tend to know more about it than Christians.

  • this doesnt make any sense. i dont understand. If everything will die, than isn't as good as nothing? If your life will end, then whats the point in living it? Living in the now means nothing if the now ends. It just doesnt make sense. Why not just end it if your so certain and you won't even be able to remember it.

  • It does mean nothing. Why not end it now, you ask. I think about that almost every day. Why don't I just go kill myself? But, the answer is simple, I enjoy life and there are many things I still want to learn and do. Even if they don't matter, and I won't remember anything when I'm dead ( obviously). It matters to me now =)

  • Because even if life doesnt last forever, its still nice to live. You dont throw an ice cream away just becuase it doesnt last forever right? its still nice to have while its there.

  • The icecream is inert.

  • The point in living is life itself wich is enough of a gift not to think we deserve more...

  • The only solace is in Jesus Christ gentleman like it or not Jesus is the only Way. The world will pass away but it will be in fire.Eternal life or death is a reality irregardless if you don't believe it but ,Grace of God is for all His creation but due to many depraved minds they reject the Truth for darkness and love their sin more than God.Let's look at this intelligently you have faith that God doesn't exist .Yet you find every way possible to deny the existence of God =Faith. Repent Repent

  • "Irregardless" isn't a word.

  • You, sir, are an idiot. "you have faith that God doesn't exist .Yet you find every way possible to deny the existence of God"

We do not set out to "prove" there is no god - that would be impossible. We strive to make you think rationally but usually you're too closed minded to consider the facts. Go repent yourself.

  • Jesus is not the only way, Moohammad, Buddha, Krishna...All religions have their "only way" claim.

  • Jesus is the Way the Truth the Life.Salvation only comes through Jesus may you read the book of John in the bible.(Pride=1st sin) May God open your eyes.

  • "Jesus is the Way the Truth the Life"

Nonono, Moohammad is the way, no wait, Buddha is the way, all religions have their "chosen ones" and trinkets. You have nothing but retoric and emotion to appeal to.

    "Salvation only comes through Jesus"

I think "salvation" comes from self, not someone else.

    "(Pride=1st sin)"

I have pride in my hard work and successes, I have shame where I do bad. Pride is no sin.

  • @TurboDally

oh, this religion is the same, that religion is the same...

if you can go out the streets....and get any girl and marry her...nono every girl is the same

    lols

  • People ≠ religions...

People are real, religions are fake

  • I agree that religons are fake but faith in Jesus Christ is real.

  • How much are you sure of that, i mean that most of what's known about him is hearsay and borrowed from older myths, so why this religion particulary and what other religions have you studied before picking this one ?

Just asking, i'd like to know how people come to choose one rather than an other...

  • @skilla23 -I always wondered about theists who say religion is wrong but god is real. but if you take religion out of the equation then you take out any reference of jesus, and hell, and the commandments, or any other rules of religion. then you just have a god/gods with none or your moral guidelines. how can you believe in your god without the teacings of your religion?

  • Irregardless if it's a word or not is of no consequence in the context of what was written you can't deny the Truth it is written on your heart by God . Deny His existence all you want. However, one day you will believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and God.I pray that He opens your eyes.Rational thinking says that man is the ultimate authority????Wow REPENT!!!

  • Threats are not arguments...

  • I would have put it like this...

Everything's gonna end... So what! I'll just enjoy while I can.

  • 42 people! the answer is 42!

  • a life is meaningless. we have instictive needs which when filled give a sence of pleasure or satisfaction. i am totally happy in the knowledge that i'll be gone some day. i think knowing your going, like from a disease and being given a probable life expectancy would not be nice. but i would just have to accept it.

  • Texas atheist are damn cute btw......

  • It's more noble to dare to exist, facing your own inevitable and eternal death, then to submit yourself to God and hope for eternal boredom.

  • @MarinusCopy Funny how life works, you never really appreciate things until you loose it, well in time you sill see, the truth will be obvious, Plain as the noon day sun.

Jesus is your answer, but just a suggestion, you choose what you want.

But i can guarantee you 2011 you will never forget, But don't loose your receipt, remember there is a money back Guarantee.

  • @MarinusCopy eternal = energy, scratch the boredom and insert fun [have fun/ heaven, the non dogmatic description of such a state of being]

  • "Life and death happen no matter how much worrying you do. it is illogical to fear your life or your death if the deciding factors of the results are not in your control. you can only control your own composure and the risks you take. all the rest are simply the sum of domino effect events." • I don't think the human race has to end when the universe ceases to provide life support.

  • tThere could be a God but no afterlife. who knows.

  • There could also be an afterlife but no God. Why would God be required for anything concerning an afterlife, or the lack thereof? Well, you don't have to answer this question, it's just a hypothetical pondering on my part :)

  • if there is no god.. no afterlife.. then how do you explain near death experiences, reincarnations, paranormal activity... b4 u say its all bullshit.. do extensive research like i did then we ll see what bullshit is... atheism

  • Reincarnations arent real, for one thing, and near death experiences are just simply experiences.

  • who are you to say they are not real.. what about people that could tell u everything about a past life like that one boy who remembers being a pilot.. u could see the documentary on youtube

  • I once had a sleep paralysis.

Its a state where your body is still sleeping but you are awake and you may or may not experience hallucinations.

In that state i saw aliens inside my room.

Which one do you think is more likely, that i was abducted by aliens or that i had a sleep paralysis?

  • i dont know... did they but something up your ass?

  • your only 14 kid.. you have some journeys to go through.. eventually youll start to see the big picture

  • there is a difference between the luminous and the supernatural, and let's say that there is afterlife etc and there isn't a natural explanation for what you speak of, doesn't mean there is or isn't a god, nor gives light to that idea of god, really what you said is a non sequitur, whatever though, idk, you doubtfully know anything beyond what one could, so really my point is what the fuck you talking bout willis! peace holmes,

  • hahahaha

  • I've never had any of those experiences, so it's hard for me to believe them. People claim all sorts of things, you can't believe all of them, so I have to rely on those experices in which I've had and none have been supernatural.

  • the meaning of life , the universe and everything = 42

  • I like Matt, he's cool. :)

  • The car analogy is a poor one. A car is not a living thing. It does not feel.

  • yes i am feeling fine, and very much alive, and none of you can prove im NOT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I believe that some people are so dissatisfied with this life and how it has turned out and having been told that there is another life, an afterlife, a heavenly life, they pin all their hopes on that life and fuck this one, their only one.

If someone gave you food, but told you that much better food would come later, how well would you appreciate the first food?

  • Myself in the last few years have been questioning after life and meaning of life why am i here blah blah blah , well i guess i came to the idea i am a atheist but am also wasting and waiting hoping maybe one of these religions are true in fear of my fate , but am seriously starting to turn a new leaf and what if this is my last and only life why should i hold back anything i whanna do , say what i whanna say act on events i would never act on wouldnt that be awesome to feel as free as that

  • I have a feeling it's a controlling mechanism for the masses.. If everyone can't get what they want, they have to be subdued..

  • @AntEyeTheist

your comments are of the "stereotype"

  • @AntEyeTheist I disagree. I think people just don't want to permanently lose consciousness. It's hard to contemplate nothingness. It can be a very frightening thought no matter how good or bad your life is right now.

  • @CambridgeHeights If you can comprehend what nothing is, death is nothing to fear. -AntEyeTheist

Consciousness is all we have, unconsciousness bares no regrets.

  • @AntEyeTheist While you are conscious, you can still experience the fear of impending nothingness.

  • @CambridgeHeights Fear, if you want to, or live as long as you can.

  • @AntEyeTheist Fear and long life are not really choices, and once your dead, it doesn't matter how long you lived. It's as if you never existed in the first place.

  • @CambridgeHeights Celebrate life!

  • @AntEyeTheist gr8 insight

  • But it IS pretty!!!! Every good thing that happens in your life has value to you because you know death awaits. Knowlidge of shorter life = more value, Eternal life = non-existant.

  • I have no fear of dying, and somehow false promise of everlasting life AFTER DEATH seems to be the main attraction to "believing". An appeal is made to the greed within people. This greed is absent in those who doubt. That doubt also allows for strong character unfocused on rewards or escapeing punishment.

I firmly believe that religion is bullshit, but to those who enjoy it, it must be a matter of taste. I don't go for bullshit, seeing that there is so much more to life than that.

  • The cold death of the universe comes under the heading of theory. Not that long ago scientist were talking about the universe collapsing. My gut feeling is that something goes on. It simply doesnt seem intuitive that the universe is created once, expands, ends and thats it. Maybe there is more than one universe. Maybe the universe cycles. Maybe we can switch universes. Who knows? The only thing I am sure of is that no one knows the real answer so we should stop worrying about it.

  • atheism is pure awesomeness !

  • Atheism is nothing but people freeing themselves of idiocracy...that sounded pretentious...but its ok, Im not going to hell for it right? ;)

  • Sorry man, that was intended to be a plus, but somehow I clicked minus :) I suppose I'll go to hell for that, forgive me please :)

  • jebus is definitely not saving you after that...

  • What is the title of the song during the intro?

  • I just want to say that all of you Atheists are thinking too small. Unfortunately, today, humans are unable to understand the importance of their place in the universe. Evolution is just a tool with a greater purpose.

Look how far we've come as humans in such a short amount of time. Do you really think this is the end of learning and thinking? Our minds will change in time, and we will be smarter. Your beliefs now will mean nothing in the future.

  • you guys should just kill yourselves then

  • "you guys should just kill yourselves then"

Why? It just means that we fade away from existance, we have no reason to assume otherwise.

Also, just because nobody created you does NOT mean that you should kill yourself. If you honestly think that humans need a god in order to need a reason to stay alive, then your religion has blinded you to the cold reality in front of you.

  • It's the religious people who should pray for death, because they will enter paradise. The life of an athiest is worth more than the life of a believer, beccause the life of a believer is insignificant compared to their afterlife, where as the life of an athiest is all they have.

  • There is no meaning of life. We are just an another part of natural selection and we will die out too some day.

  • Idea, check up with your emotions.

If you do stuff now, that you can be proud about, you won't actually care about how it ends. I studies and got my degree. HOORAY! fuck everybody else, I DID IT!

Seriously the people that worry about how will the world end, should do more stuff that they enjoy now. It's like before dying you'll say "I lived a wonderful life, and I'm proud of it".

  • man if we just came to this world to die eventually thats really sad, our lives end ,theres nothing else that continues, so all our feelings ,our emotions, our thoughts, it will be all for nothing, what in the beginning did i come to this world for? just to live and eventually stop existing? that just makes me wanna have all ppl dear to me and hug them and never let them go and love them as i never have and share beautiful moments with them do plenty stuff and dreaming it will never end

  • I like Dawkins' answer: Instead of whining about death, be happy to have the privilege of existing at all. There was nothing inevitable about the cosmological processes, evolution, or history, leading to you being born. The odds were staggeringly against you existing.

From this view, moaning about death seems to me to be like a person who wins 100 million dollars in lottery, and then complains that he didn't win a billion. Wouldn't you just want to slap someone like that??

  • You guys must be really sad, hopeless people.

  • Lakers Celtics on in 5 minutes lets go watch it guys!

  • I hate the fact that i lived as a christian for 20 years. I hate that when my dad died at age 47, because of christianity, i spent years praying and worrying for his soul not to be damned. i hate that i lived in complete delusion, full of fear, anguish and guilt for so many years. When i converted to atheism, i felt free and out of the cage of deception. But till this day, i think of how my younger years were ruined.

  • ohh and is that the original song if god was one of us???

  • "Life's a piece of shit, When you look at it." Monty Python.

  • basically u gota make the best out of ur life in case there is not an after life atleast ull know u lived ur life to the fullest unlike christians that worry about everything

  • Actually, you won't know that you have been living life to the fullest, since you'll be dead xD

The fact that we die makes our entire existence pointless. So we have to figure out a way to prevent death and give meaning to our lives. It should be possible to stop aging and disease from killing us pretty soon, but we would probably still die eventually from wars, accidents or from entropy billions of years in the future...

  • yeah well u know dosent matter what we do we can never be immortal shure we can do all that stuff u said but we cant simply stop the flow of time cuz basically our goal in life is to grow and die lol so might as well live it up while u have time thats y i say no to religion cuz all they do is scare u and prevent u from living a good life

  • By the way:

"if I were addressing the evolutionary causal necessities which brought about life as we know it..."

Evolution has *absolutely nothing* to do with the origin of life. Did you not learn anything in biology class?

  • That was hilarious, I was actually about 3/4th through this video and I was going to post Mark Twain's quote... and then you mentioned it, it's:

"I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it." - Mark Twain

  • secular power....

  • Dear friends,

atheist will always win an argument because we are a world based on reason, logic and wit.

  • Too bad it is not always a world based on punctuation and grammar.

  • I love the caller. Only a true Irishman could stare deeply into a pint of Guinness and mourn the sad fate of all the little bubbles as he's drinking them down.

  • 47.lol!!!,great post!.

  • i am actually the caller.... thanks

    slainte

  • Whitenine = Nutjob on the loose

  • Repent from your sins and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God hate workers of iniquity. Forsake your sins. Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind by reading the Bible(KJV). The day is coming when God will judge you all and no secrets will be hidden but expose widely! REPENT & BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST or YOU WILL GO TO HELL

  • Hahahaha - I love your channel page, whitenine. It's a perfect parody of those fundy nutcases that have to saturate themselves with the stench of sanctity.

Great satire, man. Right down to the deluded posts. Genius.

  • Why do you accept the King James Version* of the bible as true?

Please try to answer without threatening me with hell or using CAPS OF DOOM

    *KJV first published 1611

  • Hmm... but technically though his call is over he COULD call back in again?

    Evidence for reincarnation?

  • FFreeThinker, I really like you uploads, but is it possible to make them a bit louder? I find myself raising the volume when a watch you vids.

  • TheLittleDonkey:

Look up The Atheist Experience on Google Video; the whole shows are on there :)

  • "Religion offers satisfying answers at the expense of the truth."

    Beautifully put Don.

  • "I wouldn't refuse to dance merely because I know that the music will eventually stop."

    -ProfMTH

  • Who is -ProfMTH?

  • I remember school vacation, thinking about how they would never end, but they did. After a few of them you realized it didn't matter, and just to enjoy the time away. Now I have the same thoughts about weekends, except the end is near(er).

  • His call might have finished but it is still being enjoyed.....at least by me!

  • i was the caller actually..... i liked the answer.... difference between not mattering in the end and not ever of mattered

  • Two things - I don't care that the universe will dissipate into photons, because I won't be around to know about it.

Also, I think it makes the fleeting chance we get at living and being conscious all the more precious and meaningful. We're fighting that inevitable conclusion of entropic expansion. Take advantage of the fortune you have of being conscious, because you just as easily could have been gas in a star or cosmic dust.

  • The video response to this is purely comedic. Silly creationists...

  • Believers are being asked to give up the infantile comfort of eternal life. Everything looks dark and scary outside the faith.

  • You can sit on the beach and cry because the tide will wash away your sandcastle... Or you can have fun playing in the sand in the sunshine. Your choice.

  • creating children for selfish reasons like perpetuating your legacy is evil

those children are going to die eventually and giving them life only so that it can be taken away later on is fucking evil

because those children will also think of all of these depressing but truthful ideas and if they aren't mentally strong enough to accept these kind of truth, they might actually be a little depressed because of that

  • but the bottom line is that its evil to glorify having children. Giving someone life so that they can grow old, turn into a vegetable, and die is fucking evil

  • what's the name of the revised "god is great" song? I gotta have it as my ringtone

  • That caller sounded exactly like Werner Herzog

  • Just because I know the music will end, doesn't mean I won't be dancing...

  • is he not doing the show soon?

  • The thing neither tackled is whether these facts need to be a problem. They try to relativize it, talk about legacies etc. but in my eyes that's an unsatisfying cop out.

To have a problem with non-existence, you need to create one and struggle with it. By approaching this purely through thought rather than awareness, people get hung up.

    There is no problem.

  • you know, watching this in high quality really gives you the nice shine on matt's head.... !! LOL

The meaning of life is... oh damn, i just shit my pants

  • What song is that at the intro?

  • Nevermind I found it:

Bob Rivers - What If God Smoked Cannabis

  • Funny: That Mark Twain quote has brought the most comfort to me in regards to my own end since I have been an atheist. I only heard it for the first time last year. :) (5 stars)

  • The sun isn't going to die for about 5 billions years. At the current rate of technological advancement, I think it's safe to say that we'll be able to find another suitable planet in another galaxy and move by then.

Heat death of the universe is like 10^100 years from now. At the current rate of technological advancement, in that incredibly long time I think it's safe to say that we may even discover other universes and a way to break free of our own by then.

  • Does Matt look like he's having a good day? Seriously, he just *looks* happier than usual. Nice to see once in a while, makes him look younger.
