  • Best mustache in wrestling history.

  • I might have commented on this a few years ago but thought I'd point out again how amazing this theme is. Thanks for the upload.

  • VAL VENUS Took this man style.. I never liked Val he is and always be a

FAKE ASS RICK RUDE.. R I P RUDE

  • How is this man NOT In the WWE HALL OF FAME.. Former intercontenal champ former u s champ former wcw and international champ.. R I P RICK RUDE.. You were a legend ..

  • @BFLY1980 ever stop to think maybe he was paying tribute to his hero...i hate u retarded fucking marks

  • @BFLY1980 Amen brother, every year I wait to see if they induct him and every year I am disappointed.

  • RIP to a great great talent. One of the most under-rated workers of all time and the best wrestler to never hold a world title in a major federation.

  • @valiantbros so you don't count the WCW International World Championship?

  • @BrickCity4eva I missed out on the International Title days. Did it hold the same prestige as the WCW World Championship?

  • @peterp21 Yes, at the time. The reason why the championship was in place was because Ric Flair left with the original belt. Yes at one time the International World Title was like the World Heavyweight Championship for SD, a Subordinate world championship so Rick Rude was the man at one point

  • No, Michelangelo the turtle.

  • @KilamajaroKen Michael Angelo Batio the guitarist.

  • WWE should make the dvd of Ravishing Rick Rude story

  • Think he was sculpted by Maya Angelou?

  • @cspara Micheal Angelo, the artist.

  • I'f Ravishing Rick was still alive and worked a Adults only Indies Bar Show.

He may have said something like this:

    Cut The Muisc!!

" For all you out of shape Fatasses in this venue tonight, open your mouths and endulge in Nachos Grande while I get your woman's attention as I take off my Robe to show them what a Real Man looks like." :)

  • what happened to the original themes for wrestlers. nowadays its all nickleback and some heavy metal bullshit

  • Sting and rick rude had great matches but the stinger broke rick rude's neck

  • i really wish there had been a match between rude and hogan! i was a booker in wcw in the mid90s i woulda had a triangle match at bash at the beach between flair, rude and hogan for the wcw title.

  • @gzephier Rude left just as Hogan was coming in due to a back injury and general disdain for management

  • I love how WCW would do poormans versions of famous singers/bands for there theme songs, this sounds like a Tina Turner/Whitney Houston tribute act.

  • As an adult i watch some of the older stuff and am just in awe of how good Rick Rude was as a heel, You could hate his attitude and hate everything about him but at the end of the day his work in the ring made you go, wow he is good. too bad the guys today dont know how to build heat like he did. Vince needs to put the man in the HOF already, maybe he's jealous because he wasnt as ravishing and maybe linda got a rude awaking back in the day.

  • @GuardianRebelDave12 I'm inclined to agree with Jim Ross that if you watch those vids of his matches with the Ultimate Warrior, you appreciate just what kind of patience Rude must have had to work with such a no-talent hack. He carried those matches every step of the way.

  • meh, all his other themes were way better than this

  • I always thought WCW had shitty entrance music. Rarely did any ever impress me. They had a couple of good ones, Goldberg, nWo, Wolfpac, maybe Jericho, but mostly they sucked. Rude's WWF theme was so much better.

  • This theme sounds so generic

  • For all the youngin's out there Rick Rude's 1st theme was "Smooth Operator" by Sade when he was in the NWA...

  • is Rick Rude in the Hall of Fame yet?? he was my favorite heel of all time and I was a face fan growing up...his crowd insults are legendary LOL....this was definitely my favorite theme from the WCW Slam Jam days

  • @miggy25 No, and it's a great injustice that Rick Rude is not in the HOF yet. But apparently Vince MacMahon holds a grudge like nobody does! Even after you die!!!

  • Anyone know the lyrics please???

  • Comment removed

  • Mutch better thant the wwf theme!!!! i love it

  • That weak lame named Glenn Beck should take some tips from Rick Rude.

  • Dude i fucking love this song....

  • just like hbk the two of them were great in the first DX!

  • is that tina turner???

  • @MrShayWalker No, forget her name but it wasn't Tina

  • Rude hated this theme supposedly.

  • @TehKarmaPolice A lot of wrestlers hated their greatest themes. Hogan despises 'Real American', and paid for 'Voodoo Chile' himself, just so he didn't have to use it again.

  • @NeptuneNetwork I'm pretty sure that Hogan couldn't use Real American because WCW didn't own the rights to the song, WWE/F did. Also, Voodoo Child was used during Hogans heel run.

  • @TehKarmaPolice I'm talking about when Hogan returned to the WWE with the Red & Yellow after the failed NWO Invasion, and continued to use Voodoo Child.

  • @TehKarmaPolice Hogan wanted to use Real American in WCW. For some reasons Vince McMahon didn't own the rights to it but got hold of the situation b4 Hogan bought the rights.Hogan came out on WCW version of real american "American Made"(both written by Jimmy Hart) During the heel turn he came out to the nWo theme until Dennis Rodman hit the seen & they started coming out to Voodoo Chile. He kept it his theme . Hogan claimed he paid $250,000 a year to use it.

  • @NeptuneNetwork What's the source on him not liking real american? Not doubting but I've read his book and such and didn't see it.

  • "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, take notes

    Ravishing > Dashing

  • @TheSpongebobfan5 Miz should take notes too from Rude on how to draw heat.

    Rude>Miz

  • @Adb12San rude could back up his arrogance, miz thinks he can lol jkjkjk. on a serious note rude would whip miz....

  • @Adb12San mark much?

  • @hulksterdude28 No, I just know hw much better Rude is then the Miz.

  • rick rude wa a god. no one was better.

  • This song is kinda good-guyish i think, but it's still awesome.

  • RIP RAVISHING RICK RUDE.. A TRUE LEGEND.

  • this is a great song

  • One of the few guys to have a better career in WCW than WWF.......

  • he would have defintely been a wwe champion if he lasted longer. too bad he died so young. hall of fame for him and bulldog davey boy.

  • if rick rude were still alive i wouldve loved to see him rip the miz and/or rko a new asshole. long live one of the greatest heels you loved to hate

  • I remember the long, curly hair. Then short, almost military haircut. I even remember back in late 1992, when the Tom Selleck/porn-stache went M.I.A. One of the best physiques in pro wrestling. Slender, yet defined. Long live "Ravishing" Rick Rude. Definately deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

  • Rick Rude was the man !!!

  • he belongs in the hall

  • Compared to dodgy Pearl Jam and Nirvana instrumental rip-offs this is a really awesome song that pretty much says everything that needs to be said about the character.

  • @apexofbeing

    amen dude . amen

  • Work Out Music.

  • THERE'S ONLY ONE RICK RUDE!

  • 3 time wcw world heavyweight champion

    united states champion

    intercontinental champion

one day wwe hall of fame

    ravishing rick rude

  • @wrestlingbrian123 Great comment, wish I would have wrote it.

  • This man was an icon.I'm a Black American and this guy was one of my favorite wrestlers coming up.I was born in 85 and this guy definitely left an impression.I couldn't get this song out of my head.I wasn't that surprised when I learned this was his 11th year since his death...RIP Ravishing Rick....

  • @eternalchampion0 dude none of that message made any sense, it was full of insignificant info. why does it matter that your a black american? im white and english and was born in 1980 but wtf has it got to do with this??

  • @paytondeasy It just goes to show the people that liked this guy was diverse, you dumb motherfucker....

  • its been exactly 11 yrs since the death of the ravishing one who died on 30th april 1999. lets all stand up and pay our respects to SIMPLY RAVISHING.

  • I think his WWF theme fit his gimmick so much better

  • GAY!

  • the best song of rick rude cool!

  • I can c Rick Rude and Arn Anderson becoming World champ doin tha Russo Era in WCW...if there careers and tha untimely death wouldn't hav came in2 play.

  • THE RUDE AWAKENING!

  • Why does she sound like Tina Turner.

  • LOL, I been sayin tht 2...it might b.

  • put rude in the hall this theme was his best.i think it would of been cool him and val venis fighting

  • this is by far the best Rick Rude theme ever. Also as for the HOF, Rude defiently deserves to b there and Vince doesn't let most thin g hinder him from makin money. Also I hear that the WWE only want's 2 do 1 or 2 dead wrestlers a year so that it doen't bring the event down alot. Besides he let Gagne and Perfect in among other that he didn't get along with

  • If ya don't fit the mold, then don't dream of the Rude Awakening!

  • Even though people say Rude never won a world title.......He was actually WCW Champion at one time when Flair left for WWE.

    Anyway, Rude for HOF 2010!

  • You are correct....WCW International World Heavyweight Champion....Sting defeated him for the title.

  • @norr4636 Actually it was the US title.(same thing but United States Heavyweight Championship is the correct name).

  • @rufus317 No Sting did defeat Rick Rude for the WCW International Heavyweight Championship, but he did defeat Rick in 1993 for the United States Title.

  • @EvilIntentions245 Don't forget when WCCW started to recognize the Texas Heavyweight belt as a World title he was holding it at the time so that make s him a 2 time world champion.

  • @raiders75 Wouldn't the Texas title it was the Amercian Heavyweight title

  • @datdamnleroygreene You are right. It was the American Heavyweight title, not the Texas title. Thank you for correcting me.

  • "what Id like to have now is for all u fat, outta shape youtube losers to shut ur mouth while I take off my robe and show you what a real man looks like" is what rick rude would say if he were still alive

  • No doubt he deserves to be in the WWE hall of fame but that will never happen because old Vince loves to hold grudges even to the grave.

  • THIS THEME IS BETTER

  • "Coming down to ring-side with "Madusa" from Robbinsdale,Minnesota, weighing at 251 pounds, he is the United States Heavyweight Champion of the world, "Ravishing" Rickkkkkkkkkkk....Ruuuuuuuuude!!!!!"

  • ah yes....duringt the days of Paul E's dangerous alliance ;-)

  • the one and only rick rude

  • WWE HOF 2010.

  • This was the absolute best thing to come from the WCW Slam Jam album. Not even "Mr. Bang Bang" compares to this.

  • RUDE AWAKENING!

  • "what id like to have now, is for all you fat, YOUTUBE losers, to keep quiet while i take off my robe and show youwhat a real man looks like". is what Rick rude would say if he were still alive!

  • @Mrnokids loved when he said all that! awesome

  • Rick Rude Hall of Fame 2010

  • @YanksR5 @hjq0023 rude was one of the people who tested positive and admitted to steroid use he also died of heart failure people belive steroids attibuted to this so inducting him would cause wwe a lot of shit and bring them a lot of unwanted publicity if not for that he would have been where he belong long long ago headlining the hall of fame NOW HIT THE MUSIC

  • @YanksR5 what id like to have right now is for all you fat out of shape hall of fame sweathogs keep qiet while a real man gets inducted into the hall of fame

  • @YanksR5 yes i agree rick rude is an icon.

  • @YanksR5 Rick Rude Hall of Fame 2012

  • i LOVED dis theme 1992!!

  • Comment removed

  • "Cut the music!"

    RIP Rick Rude

  • well said

  • damn did every great wrestler from the wwe go to wcw because if they did, 2 things show, 1 wcw couldnt find new talent and vince mcmahon is stupid for letting them go

  • If your referring to McMahon letting go Rick in 97 it actually wasn't McMahon it was Rude himself

Rick was angry about the Montreal incident and left since he was appearing on a pay per appearance and technically didn't have a contract

  • rick rude is the best heel ever in wrestling

  • @TheEdgeheadForever AGREED, no one was ever more hated

  • agree Rick Rude should have his own DVD look the feuds he had with WWE Jake Roberts, Warrior and Piper in WCW Sting, Steamboat,Kolkoff, and Dustin Rhodes. ECW, DX and NWO it make cents and also be in the hall of fame

  • Long Live Ravishing Rick! All time favorite.

  • I always thought WCW had better themes than WWF during that time period. They all sounded pretty rock and roll-ish and had great guitar riffs. R.I.P. The Ravishing one!

  • rick rude hall of fame 2010 he cud talk wrestle had the body, only he and macho man were the only two who cud carry warrior to a memorable match, RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE

  • Rude would kick Edge's Ass. He should be in the Hall of Fame.

  • rude would also kick randy orton's ass too. i think orton is somewhat like this generation's rick rude. he might not dance around like rude, but he is very cocky, arrogant like him. however rude was more charismatic than orton will ever be...

  • Your right Rude was able to get a greater reaction out of the crowd due to his arrogance and partly due to his association with Bobby Heenan

  • what about the whole minnesota accent thing, and the fact that this theme song is probably one of the best heel wrestling theme songs ever...dont forget what i said about me being from Northern California and how we dont really have an accent out here...

  • This is the man Bobby Heenan must hold a special place in his heart because Ravishing was the first one in the Heenan Family to win a title in WWE (Excluding Andre who with all respect didn't get a credible title reign)

  • @MrPerfect2000Z Heenan said that Rick Rude didn't like having Bobby as a manager and that he didn't understand why he was Rude's manager since Rude could talk by himself. He said the same about Hennig in the same shoot interview by RF video

  • I'm giving him this theme for Legends of Wrestlemania

  • I LIKE THIS THEME WHEN HE WAS WITH WCW

  • Sounds like the pointer sisters making a wrestling theme.

  • greatest wrestling song

  • CUT THE MUSIC!!!

what i'd like to have right now, is for all you knowledgeable and respectul, youtube fans, that truly understand what a great heel wrestler should be go to WWE and demand that the ravishing one be granted his rightful place in the WWE Hall Of Fame. HIT THE MUSIC!!!!

  • AGREED

  • i agree. he should be in the hall of fame for being one of the greatest heels of all time, along with the fact he was one of the many Minnesota wrestlers with that funny ass Minnesota accent; it's funny to me because i'm from Northern California and us N.C.'s dont really have a distinct accent...

  • I just thought of a kick ass old school faction (just for argument sake). Rick Rude, Bret Hart, The Million Dollar Man, and Curt Henning. With Bobby Hennan as their manager!!!! That would be sick!!! But only for argument sake!!!!

  • Rick Rude and Curt Hennig would fit because they are best friends and Heenan would fit because they were both part of the heenan family

Million Dollar Man would be the leader seeing as how hes rich

Bret Hart would be good to add credibility to the stable

  • This is a millions times better than his WWF theme.

  • YES!!!

  • You'd think he was sculpted my Michelangelo.

  • Simply Ravishing....Simply Awesome....Simply one of the greatest to ever step in the ring!

Gimme a HELL YEAH if you think Ravishing Rick Rude should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame!!!

  • HELL YEAH he should be in hall of fame

  • HELL YEAH

  • For the love of god vince and WWE management please release a DVD about the Ravishing Career of ravishing Rick Rude. This man has done way more then anyother wrestler in the WWE!

  • The greatest portion of his career was when he was in WCW. He and Sting had some great matches, Steamboat vs Rude, Dustin Rhodes vs Rude. Great man and great wrestler.

  • Man i wish he was still around.

  • яιp яιck яudε

    웃+★=Supεяstaя Lεgεend

    RAVISHING

  • Rude needs his own DVD like Mr. Perfect and Brian pillmen have .

  • rick rudes

    a legend

    live for the ravishing fusion

  • GOD

  • RIP Triple R

  • Loved seeing him pin the Warrior. May Rude R.I.P.

  • One of the best themes ever in wrestling

  • Im Simply Ravishing 2

  • u have the link to this?

  • *slaps forehead* this was my uncle?

  • who was your uncle?

  • Rick Rude= my uncle

  • One thing that pissed me off was that Rick Rude versus Vader feud never occurred due to Rude's injury. That would have been a great match with the two biggest heels in WCW at the time.

  • I always swooned when he came out on TV. I miss Rude

  • but Rick Rude is in SmackDown vs Raw 2008 ;)

  • what a legend! RIP

  • Rude vs. Warrior...... possibly one of the best rivalries in WWE History in my opinion!!!!

  • Warrior vs. Rude was definately one of the best feuds in WWE history...a shame it was cut so short when Rude jumped to WCW

  • I listen to this song every time I feel arrogant. Perfect song.

  • " Cut the music......What I like to have right now, is for all you fat, out of shape, inner city sweat hogs...... keep the noise down as I take my robe off and show the ladies how a real sexy man suppose to look like....hit the music"

  • Wrestlemania V, right? I remember that just before his match with the Ultimate Warrior.

  • Wait...never mind...I got that wrong...I believe he called them "high rolling, Atlantic City sweathogs."

    Oops.

  • Correct!! Cardinal9683 =) The one I've written before is from SummerSlam 1990 Vs Ultimate Warrior in the Steel Cage Match for the WWF Championship.

  • Yeah...the OTHER Warrior/Rude match of any note.

It just goes to show you how talented Rude was...he was able to pull a good match out of the untalented Ultimate Warrior! Rude was extremely underrated...and considering his ability to draw heat the way he could...I feel he was under-utilized in WWF. WCW did a good job of using Rude though.

Wrestling lost a good one when Rick Rude died, I tell ya...

  • I agree what you stated.Rick Rude was at his best in WcW, but I wish he won the WWF Champion vs Warrior. I personally never cheered much for the good guys any ways. Rick Rude was and is still my top three favorite Pro Wrestler of all time. Like the music intro would say " He's Simply Ravishing" and in my own words: He's one of a kind =)

  • To be fair, Warrior wasn't as bad as some would have you believe.

  • this theme RULES....everytime i hear it it takes me back to seeing Rick Rude cockily making his way down to the ring before insulting the audience on the mic!

  • Probably the best of all the lousy theme songs WCW turned out at the time.
