Sure Merc has more luxurious toys (although the new A8s really give the S class a run for it's money), and BMW is more drive oriented without luxuries, but Audi does both in one car without sacrificing quality. Truly sporty luxury sedans.

Mercedes is the best and most luxurious car companies among the German top brands. No companies can make better awd system than Audi. I think quattro is better than 4matic since I drove ml350 and A4 during winter blizzard 2009 in DC.

Cars are not for life and majority of us will switch from brands from time to time. It is quite natural for a MB/BMW owner to switch to Audi and vice visa.

I have no bad feeling about Audi before I have watched its commercials. In fact, I appreciate Audi's persistence on AWD. But now, I can only say that I will not consider an Audi anymore. It is far too arrogant to me.

Well when the average comsumer wants to purcahse a luxury car, they think of MB or BMW or even Lexus. But Audi is always in the back to consider. In a market dominated by these giants, Audi needs to push and be arrogant to get its cars through. And i believe Audi is better than all these brands because thier persistence to produce cars that are just stunning and push boundaries. these cars are awesome and this is by far the best car commercial i have ever seen.

MB and Audi? which one is better is rather subjective. However, it is not a gentlemen game to rip out a MB in an Audi commercial.

I have no special feeling about Audi before Audi trying to compete with other premium brands in its commercial. But such dirty trick make me sick about it, no matter how good its cars are.

This ad isn't trying to say Audi is better than Mercedes. As it says "Progress is beautiful" - tastes change. This ad is simply highlighting a progression of taste changing from one to another. Some people may like the house how it was originally before it changed. Nothing wrong with it. Just a change. I say the ad is "tastefully aggressive" and fitting for a premium brand.

I've never had much desire than to simple own a good functional vehicle to get me around. But this commercial sure makes me want to run out and get an A4. The music i just awesome and I still enjoy listening to it as short as it is. They really stepped up with the commercial and I can't help but believe Audi must have the same attention to detail. Great spotting of the lights.

@thegallery I agree. My family preordered the A5 Sline a few weeks before they were released in late 2009. We had an Audi A8L before, which was our first Audi. We love both cars and Audi really has set the bar high for the luxry car market simply because of their ability to provide "bang for your buck". Our A5 is the best looking car we have ever owned, but really desire another A8L :). I hope you get an A4 because its better to lead than follow!

Ya pero es que audi en lo unico que puede presumir es en coches bonitos, y ya esta, he tenido un audi A5 y cada 2 semanas tenia que ir al taller, sino era los inyectores, eran las valvulas, sino el sistema de arranque, me pase a mercedes, y la fiabilidad del motor me ha dejado impactado, hasta ahora cambios de aceites y echandole agua al motor, y tira como un demonio (clase C), asi que yo me quedo con Mercedes por mucho que el audi sea mas estético.

My family used to own an A8l and I highly recomend it. It beats every other car (in my opinion)in most catagories. We have replaced our A8l with a 2009 Audi A5. Let me just tell you that it is one of the MOST BEA utiful cars my family has ever owned. Every thing about the car is awsome and I highly recomend the A8l once again.

Audi is a true driver's car. The car brand is not popular with people with newly accuired wealth, or posers like BMW/Lexus owners. Im not saying that BMW/Lexus are bad cars, they are just cheaper version of an amazing car manufacture, Audi.

I agree with you to a point. Even though BMWs are amazing cars, almost all BMW drivers are cocks on the road, Lexus I'm not so sure. But with Audi, it is different and you do get a sense the people who buy them don't do it for the marquee. I'd still have a Merc over any of them just because it's a personal favorite.
