get either tr 606 808 or 909 roland drum machine, a sampler e.g emu sp 1200 and sample anything you think would fit the french touch style or you could just make your own song samples at home and dont forget to put some sweet filter effects or phasers over the sample and you'll need a nice mixer too if you dont have one already plus a bunch of midi cables and audio cables and last but not least you'll need alot of spare time :)
