Seems like there'd be a market for replicas of these art cars, like this one and the Delahaye roadsters- give them any current straight-six engine, suspension and brakes, nothing fancy; make the body from fiberglass or find some people experienced in hand metalworking, in say Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Africa; throw in some airbags, sell it for the price of a Buick... seems viable for limited production, and fun for all concerned.

ps:13cars made by Erik plus the 3 that are original this is just awesome over the top...Only Erik had access when Lorens car was in restoration so he has measures and detailed photos of every little detail on this car and makes the majority of parts himself and he uses original bugatti parts..The sad part is he aint making them anymore infact i dont even know if he is alive today...That is one great man Erik Koux many thanx for his work because this legend of a car will live on thanx to him.

In Belgium, most classic cars are registered as oldtimers, so they don't have vehicle inspection each year. But this one probably isn't, because oldtimers have licence plates starting with an O, and this one starts with a F, so maybe it is a daily use car after all (or it is a replica and not a real oldtimer)
