I had a similar run with Maggy while I was watching this video. I got a bunch of health up pills and get my actual hearts off the screen. I also had chocolate milk and the third eye, which when used with a strength card, killed Mom's foot in 5 hits. It was my first time beating her heart, too.

This just happened to me. I went into the devil room to see if anything was worth while, but there was nothing. I left the room but in the boss arena the door was still there so i went back in. This time an item was replaced by a key for 5 cents. i picked up being low on keys and all but when i picked up the key all my hearts disapeared and i died. NEVER BUY FROM THE DEVIL!

anybody else having mom's heart kills not counting? I've completed the game with every character except for judas, and i beat the game with isaac 2x in a row, but the both didn't count - they didnt unlock anythign or give me a new ending, just the same ending where he gets the nail

@7smallfry I heard if you launch the game from the .exe file it doesn't actually track the new items you find or mom kills or anything for that matter. So launch it from steam if you aren't already, otherwise I've got nothing. Hope that helps.
